    Error 0x80070032 on Xbox One


    Hey,

    I tried to install Assassin's Creed II with my physical Xbox 360 copy and the error 0x80070032 occured as soon as the console started to install. In the past my copy of Assassin's Creed II worked perfectly fine and I had no problem whatsoever with installing the game onto my Xbox One but lately it's not possible.

    How do I fix it?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    Here's what I found on the Xbox Support site:

    "We are aware that some users may receive the error code 0x80070032 when trying to install an original Xbox or Xbox 360 backward compatible game to their Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S console."

    I have here a workaround for you, let's try installing the game digitally to check if that will work.

    "1. Cancel the installation and remove the disc.

    2. Perform a powercycle on your console.

    ​​​A. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    B. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    3. Launch Xbox app on your phone and search for the game.

    4. Click the game and choose "Download to Console"

    5. Wait for the game to install completely before inserting the disc to play it."

    Error 0x80070032 on Xbox One

    I get this error code when the Microsoft store tries to update and it pretty much ruins the performance of my console (xbox one s) forcing me to system reset, which never works to fix the issue. I can't access the Microsoft store at all anymore without it pretty much crashing the entire console. If I could uninstall and reinstall it on the console I'm sure that would fix the issue but for some reason it's not allowed. Great design choice btw 👌
