    I am running Windows 10 on my MacBook Pro 16". Since September I managed to install FS2020 thanks to the trick of Nando_Lavras I found in this post:

    Now, FS2020 was updating, and after downloading the update through the WindowsStore and starting to run it, there is still error 0x8007001F that blocks completely the running of the program... this time, the trick to switch the virtual disk from "offline"
    to "online" proposed by Nando doesn't work, in fact in my configuration there are no offline virtual disks available to be pushed online...

    I am having Windows 10 latest version on an external SDD drive recognized as C://

    I tried all the solutions proposed in the FS 2020 forums, regedit, etc., but they didn't work... all the other windows applications installed are working fine.

    I tried to reinstall Windows but the problem still occurs... The situation is getting really annoying, I am spending more time for making FS 2020 working than playing... I didn't have any issues with other applications or updates running on my MacBook -
    Windows.

    I was posting this request for support on the FS2020 support, and after sending the msinfor32 and dxdiag files, they recommended to do a fresh installation of Windows and if the problem is still there, they told me to request support to Microsft since they
    are not responsible for the error 0x8007001f. I was just chatting with the support from Microsoft, and they told me to ask "chat" support to the xbox support line...

    I tried to open a chat with the xbox-beta support, and that is not available...

    Please help me... after downloading a mandatory update from the Windows Store (more than 1 Gb) and almost at the end of the installation, I receive the error message...

    That article gives very basic solutions, nothing works, as i say, I can log in and play a lot of games (gers 5, Sunset Overdrive, Vampyr, wandersong), only dead cells gives me this problem.

    I try to reinstall in the other hardrive and now i got the error 0x8007001f, i found this about the error:

    I deactivate my antivirus, and it work, now I can install the game and play it. You guys should update the error list with this solution.

    And updating does not seems to fix the problem.

    I really don't think the windows link given above are the right solution, as this is a generic windows error code (why would audio driver block Xbox games from installing... ?)

    And apparently, if Windows 10 system resides on an external hard disk it somehow messes up the installation process for "Administrator approval required for installation" games (Error 0x8007001f
    with Xbox Game Pass PC).

    At the moment, in my case, it seems there is no solution to this problem :-(

    I can't change my install (I moved Windows 10 on an external USB drive as I wanted more space for OSX on my laptop).

    I have to wait for an update of XBox app if any.
