error 0x8007001f on several games of the Xbox Game Pass for PC

I have the same problem here. Every Xbox Game Pass for PC game with "Administrator approval required for installation" in the description fails to install with error code 0x8007001F The game download starts fine, but as soon it gets to the part where the
installation should start - boom! - error 0x8007001F

The Windows 10 on my computer is up to date. All the device drivers are fine and up to date. The restarting of the computer, change of region settings, reinstalling Xbox Beta app, using Windows Store app instead, reinstalling of Windows 10 on different hard
drive (and some other of the commonly available "fixes") - nothing helps. The problem persists. The problematic computer is Apple iMac 27-inch model March 2019 with Windows 10 installed on a separate hard drive. On my Lenovo laptop the same Xbox Game Pass
PC account works without any problems.

on external macbook hard drive/dual boot) Did you figure any solution to this? i can install other games fine but when i try to install halo mcc it errors out at 4.8%

Unfortunately the issue is still unresolved. I have the same problem with Halo or any "Administrator approval required for installation" game. It would seem that Apple Mac + Windows 10 + Xbox Game Pass PC = Error 0x8007001f

I really don't think the windows link given above are the right solution, as this is a generic windows error code (why would audio driver block Xbox games from installing... ?)

And apparently, if Windows 10 system resides on an external hard disk it somehow messes up the installation process for "Administrator approval required for installation" games (Error 0x8007001f
with Xbox Game Pass PC).

At the moment, in my case, it seems there is no solution to this problem :-(

I can't change my install (I moved Windows 10 on an external USB drive as I wanted more space for OSX on my laptop).

I have to wait for an update of XBox app if any.

Thanks for posting here on the Xbox forums. From other users experience, it seems like the PC firewall is causing issues with some downloads. This issue has been resolved in some cases by either lowering their firewall, or completely disabling anti virus
software for the duration of their download.

Hey Nicolas did you find a solution? It's a shame. Several People seem to have These issues and there is no real Workaround from MS, no Suggestion did the trick for me. I really was on fire for game pass, but I'm just About to buy Gears 5 on steam and actually
PASS on this mess.

BTW: It's in beta is a lousy Argument. although the pricepoint is fairly Deep MS advertises this questionable product with PLAY GEARS 5 for 2 BUCKS. If I worked all Hours invested in solving this, I could just have bought the ultimate Version. So disappointed.
