Error 0x8007000e while trying to open xbox pass app or Microsoft update app

I had the same issue, had to open the microsoft store app and update the xbox game pass app

The Xbox (Beta) app recently got updated out of Beta. Try going to the Microsoft Store app to download Minecraft and while you're there, click on the top right icon (the one with the Down Arrow) or the "..." and click on "Downloads and Updates".

Also, the Xbox (Beta) app currently only shows Game Pass games. Minecraft PC unfortunately is not on Game Pass.

Are you trying to log into a game or the Xbox App? If you're on Android, and trying to log into the Xbox or Game Pass app, I'd recommend searching the store for "Xbox (Beta)" or "Game Pass (Beta)" and see if you get the same error there.

Is the error code an Android system error or an App error you're getting? Also, can you provide the make and model of your phone and what version of Android you're running?

It is an app error. Microsoft msge says to try again. Device is Nokia 7. Has been fine til recently. App usually logs in automaticallt when opened but now this error appears

Based on the error message you received, it seems that there is an issue with the Xbox app or the Microsoft gaming services app. To sort this out, I suggest that you try the following steps:



1. Clear the cache of the Xbox app and the Microsoft gaming services app. To do this, follow these steps:

- Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.

- Type "wsreset.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter.

- Wait for the command to complete, and then try signing-in to Xbox Live again.



2. Check if there are any updates available for the Xbox app and the Microsoft gaming services app. To do this, follow these steps:

- Open the Microsoft Store app.

- Click on the three dots in the upper-right corner of the app and select "Downloads and updates."

- Click on "Get updates" and wait for the updates to install.

- Once the updates are installed, try signing-in to Xbox Live again.

Make sure that your Windows is up to date as well. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.





3. If the issue persists, try resetting the Xbox app and the Microsoft gaming services app. To do this, follow these steps:

- Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.

- Click on "Apps."

- Scroll down and click on "Xbox" and then click on "Advanced options."

- Click on "Reset" and then click on "Reset" again to confirm.

- Repeat the same steps for the "Microsoft gaming services" app.

- Once the apps are reset, try signing-in to Xbox Live again.

Reset the Microsoft Gaming Services app. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Gaming Services > Advanced options > Reset.
