Error 0x80070008

So every time I launch Minecraft on my Xbox it crashes and error 0x80070008 pops up. I sign in my Microsoft account onto my Switch and now Minecraft also crashes on the Switch. I don't know what to do I've uninstalled the game twice still no help. I've looked up the code on the xbox.com/errorhelp and it doesn't exist on their page. So I'm at a complete lost on what to do.

Hello UnarmingPit060, this error could be related with with a few things, such as connectivity to Live servers, or even database files that were not installed correctly.

If this error only happens with Minecraft, try uninstalling the game from the console, then reset keeping games and Apps, and install the game again on the console.

When installing the game make sure you have a stable connection in the console, preferably cable-connected, and let the download reach 100% of the installation, do not start the game before you finish the installation.

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > system > console > system

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note - You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

Sometimes, restarting your console can help some ways to proceed with the installation process. To do this, press and hold the Xbox button on your controller until the power menu appears. Select "Restart console" and wait for the console to restart.

2. Clear the cache on your Xbox Series X/S:

Clearing the cache on your console.
To do this, press and hold the Xbox button on your controller until the power menu appears. Select "Settings" > "System" > "Storage" > "Clear local saved games". This will clear the cache on your console.

3. Check your internet connection:

Make sure that your Xbox Series X/S is connected to the internet and that your internet connection is stable. You can check your internet connection by going to "Settings" > "Network" > "Network settings" on your console.

4. Check for updates: Make sure that your Xbox Series X/S is up to date with the latest system updates.

Hi Cryzt4lzz, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? If yes, please unplug the hard drive and then perform a power cycle before attempting to install a game again, keep the hard drive unplugged.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

"1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. "

If you don't have an external hard drive we may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.
