Error 0x80070005 on Xbox App after resetting Windows 10

Even I was going to ask you to try that if the previous thing didn’t worked.

If you don’t mind I’m going to share the detailed steps:

Go to windows settings > system > storage > advance storage options (this only if you’re on Windows 11) > where new content is saved
Under apps select this new partition / drive
Restart the PC and give it a new try

So, I've managed to fix it.
To future users: From searching about error code, I've found multiple posts that discussed this very problem, the solution is changing the default instalation drive on Windows' Settings to those drives in which you wish to install games on, and redo the steps given by Josef, one by one (as in, change the default drive to, say, D:, then follow Josef's instructions (thank you!), reboot, and do it again for how many drives you got.

After that, I could launch games from those drives.

Unfortunately it didn't work, and now im gettting the erro code 0x80073d0d. I also tried to install games from the Microsoft Store to no avail, but apps to work tho.

Usually when you reinstall the system, the previously installed games aren’t recognized by the Xbox app

Please try this to see if you’re able to install games again in your D: and E: drive:

Press Windows + E and go to the drive where game is installed.
(Do this for the WpSystem, XboxGames and WindowsApps folder)

Right click on it and select properties > Go to the Security tab and select Advanced:

Click on Continue in the Permissions tab > Select Change > Click Advanced in the Select User or Group window, then Find now:

Select your user account and click on Ok > Click on Ok and Apply on every window and close them.
Restart the PC and add a “.old”
Your folders are going to be named like this:
“XboxGames.old” “WindowsApps.old” “WpSystem.old”

After that restart the PC one more time and verify if you’re able to install games

Neither - I used the Reset option from Windows' Recovery category on Settings, with the 'Remove everything' option.
