    my xbox is having the same problem been all day this is kinda a really crappy thing to happen on the day titan fall comes out.

    AND I am happy to report I JUST did the recommended action and it was successful...... I DID have to re-seat my HDMI cable it showed as "no video signal" on the cold boot

    This is the third time this error code 0x87DD0006 has come up on me, getting a little p***** with it. I don't get much time to play as it is, so sit down have a chill out and nope sorry can't sign in what's going on MS spend £430 on a machine that I can't
    use. 3 times is not on and the error code isn't even in the support page. I did a unplug reset last time to fix it and clear the cache but not playing this time, again as other people have commented I don't want to do a factory reset as I will have to install
    all my games again. I understand with a new console we are going to have teething problems but 7 months in come on. I as others am ms through and through but when your customers are having basic signing in problems and nobody seems to know the cause or not
    putting solutions on the support pages is bad relations to the customers you need to hang on to.

    @Lenders, the 0x80a40002 is a DNS issue between your xbox, your modem and xbox live. My suggestion to you is to fully power off both devices (pull out power cords, leave modem disconnected for 30 seconds), then power each device up starting with modem, then
    the xbox once an internet connection has been established at the modem. You should then be able to establish a connection to live services.
