Error 0x80048883

What I did to fix this problem was to delete my account from my xbox one and add it back but if it has another error just stay on that message for about 1 hour then turn off the xbox and start it back up and add the account again. Again this worked for me,
it might not work.

I went into the chat last night and told them how I felt about the Xbox one :-/ problem after problem and with in 20 mins into the chat the code went so best bet is to get into the online chat to sort this problem out

 

I had this error yesterday, and it took me 3 hours to solve it.

I managed to sort it out by changing the DNS settings on the Xbox to manual. I made an account on 'OpenDNS.com' and then used the two DNS codes on there and typed them into the Manual DNS on the Xbox one. It then worked fine!

Initially I had this error and then I deleted my profiles and put them back on to see if it solved it, but then i couldnt add my accounts back. I then tried the way above and it solved both issues!

It is because your internet has seen the Xbox One as an 'untrusted device' i think and is limiting the connection to the console, so the console can't check licences of your games to allow you to play. Changing the DNS should resolve this issue.

This is ridiculous. I spent 500 dollars on a system along with 400 dollars in games and another 150 in accessories just to sit here and TRY to log in every 30 minutes? Not only can I not play the new titanfall I purchased, but I cannot play any other games
that do not even require me to be online because of this garbage. I think Microsoft should credit our accounts or reimburse us for all of the products that we can't use. I've been a loyal customer for 10 years, and I'm at a breaking point. Do you people even
test these things before you launch them or just say " to heck with the people, they'll keep buying our crap?" check your forums, half of your consumers are talking about going to the competition. FIX IT.
