Since you are running into issues connection to Live let's have you follow all of the steps on the Live troubleshooter.

If after all of the steps on that guide are completed you still run into that error be sure to let us know!

I still have the problem and not only with Live but with every app or game even with the parameters so I can't try anything...

When you followed the steps we sent did you see any of the errors listed on the link?

If so, could you tell us which error you saw?

Let's have you remove your profile and power
cycle the console as well and then try again.

Post back and let us know how that goes and which error you ran into!

Thanks for your reply.

I can't remove my profile as I can't launch the settings or anything for that matter, I always receive the error 0x800401fb when trying to launch anything.

The device just start to the Home Screen and I can't do anything from there without having this error code which is not listed in the live troubleshooter.

I can't do anything with the power supply because it is inside the Xbox One S

In this case, we will need to factory reset the console with the following steps:

1. Hold down the power button on the front of your Xbox One console until it fully powers down, unplug the power cord, and wait 30 seconds. Please note the console must be fully powered down; the next steps will not work if the console is powered on from
connected standby.

2. Plug the power cord back in.

3. PRESS the POWER Button then Hold down the Bind button (located on the side of the console next to the USB port) and the Eject button (located on the front of the console next to the optical disc slot), continue holding down Bind and Eject until you hear
a second “power up” chime.

4. Then SELECT Reset this Xbox - This Troubleshooter takes the User to a page that allows you to select full reset or reset but keep content (this allows you to keep your installed games and settings!)

If these steps still do not resolve the issue you may need a repair for the console. Be sure to reach out to our chat team for assistance with setting that up.

The reset seems to be working with some updates and configuration to do and it seems I've lost any saved games is that right ?

I'm trying to install a game from Live and check if everything is ok.

Anyway, how could this had happened ?

Happy to hear that process got things going!

Your saved files should be ok if you were connected to the internet when using the console and they should sync to the console once you launch them.

Not exactly sure why this occurred there are all kinds of things that could result in the console getting corrupt data but do keep us in the loop on how the setup and updating process goes!

To be sure, is your console plugged directly into the wall outlet at all time?

Yes the console is always plugged but not directly on the wall but on a multi-plug extension, does this change anything ?

Be sure to never use extension cords, surge protectors, power strips or other devices that govern the amount of power being sent to the console.

The console has it's own built in protection and using extension devices can cause the console problems.

Plug the console directly into the wall and all should be well.

How did that update go?

The update (reset) is still working and I also got my saved games back on.

Thanks again for your help, otherwise I was going to send the console to repair and paid a lot for this simple step.
