Error 0x00000001 When trying to download KI1 or KI2 via Xbox App

So, I bought the definitive edition of Killer instinct earlier since it's on sale & it comes w/ KI 1 & 2. I try to download KI 1 & 2 on my Windows 10 laptop but I get the 0x00000001 error. I already did a clean install of the Xbox app & flushed the DNS, but the issue persists. My OS *IS* up to date.

I apologize for the trouble. Kindly reset and repair these three apps and then restart your PC before trying to install any game again.

1. Settings > Apps > Search for Xbox App > Advanced Options > Reset & Repair > Go back then search "Gaming services" > Advanced Options > Repair & Reset > Go back then search Microsoft Store > Advanced Options > Reset & Repair > Restart PC.

ok, I tried that. Same result

Oh, I also just tried signing out of both the Windows Store app & the Xbox app then signing back in. Did not work.

That's odd. This usually fixes this issue. Kindly clear the cache of Microsoft Store App.

Click on the Start button.

Type in “wsreset”

Right click on wsreset and click on Run as administrator.

A black pop-up window will show up, wait for Microsoft Store App to launch before resting your PC.

Alright, I tried this solution as well. The same error persists. Just for the sake of it, I tried Turning off my Firewall thinking that might be the issue. Same error even with Firewall off
