Error 0x00000001 i cant install games from xbox app(pc) or from windows store

Hi everyone

Recently i purshased xbox game pass for windows and, in the moment of true, i just cant install any game( gamepass library or not) fron the xbox app or the store. I tried many things, from repair the apps, reset the apps and the thing with powershell from other questions with the same error in this community. Finally, i reinstall windows deleting all data and partitions and still dosent work(i install all updates too, in the store and windows update).

i dont know if this have some impact, but by now i dont have the serial of windows(many problems).

Hi, my name is Fernando and I am an independent consultant for Microsoft products.

Logout from the Microsoft store:

- Open Windows Store app, and click on the user icon located on the top right hand side of the window.

- Select the user name, and click on Sign out.

Check if your PC has all the updates installed including this one:

2021-08 Windows 10 Version 21H1 Update for x64-based Systems (KB4023057)

After updating your PC install the Xbox app and log in with the same Microsoft Store account.

Let's try the following:

1. Press the Windows + R keys.
2. Type in the Run window: wsreset.exe
3. Click OK.
This should normalize the behavior of the Store.

If the issue persist:

Open the Command Prompt as an administrator by pressing the Windows + X keys and selecting the Command Prompt (Admin) option.
Copy and paste the command:

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.XML

If neither of those procedures works, try to restore your PC's OS via the ISO image tool, using that tool you will be able to maintain your installed games and files.

first, thank you for answering me. I already check the updates i have installed and i found this one " 2021-09 actulizacion de windows 10 version 21h1 para x64 sistemas basados en (kb4023057)", i dont know if is the same of the 2021-08 but when i press "check for updates" windows tells me i dont have pending updates.

I cant tell fully has your screenshot doesnt include the full page but that looks like your trying too install the game from microsoft.com. You cant install games too PC from the website you need too use the xbox beta app.

You can install the app from the microsoft store but you do need too be on windows 10 version 1903 in order too install

Hi Alireza Hamidi, i still meet the error 0x00000001 while downloading games from Xbox app on windows 11. Will you please help to solve.
