Ok here is the solution that worked if your running windows 10, Go to settings, apps, scroll to solitaire collection, advanced, then reset. That's all it took. I had tried this several times in the past and it did not solve the problem. Today i did it and problem is gone. Go figure that out.

Ok try to do a repair or reset your app Repair or remove programs in Windows 10

Also try this; Run the troubleshooter: Select the Start Windows
logo Start button button, and then select Settings Gear-shaped
Settings icon > Update & Security Circular arrows Sync icon
> Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps
> Run the troubleshooter.
