Erorr 0x803f8001 on a purchased game.

Maybe a hard reset can help.

Hold down the power button until the Xbox shuts down.

Then unplug the power cable and wait for 5 min before plugging it back in.

That might solve the problem

for the account that was used to redeem the codes, also check the transactions if nothing weird is showing

if no issues are present on Xbox Live itself.

Hello.

We did check if there were any service issues, but all status appeared as 'Normal'. We also restarted the console a few times and updated the region with no luck. Eventually we decided to uninstall and re-install, however the same issue persisted (we checked
at the 'Ready to Start' point of the download).

In order to play, we redeemed our Game Pass code, and the game has been downloading and installing without issues... however the fact is that since we bought the special console that included the games, it's weird that we cannot get the game outside the
Game Pass.

I'll check with husband about contacting XBox Support via Phone.
