    Did a update on my xbox one soon after got the error code e105. got help in solving the issue by wiping my drive and loosing everything on it now 2 weeks later the the thing wont even start. Thanx for the wonderful console that breaks after a year.

    Sorry to hear, that you have an issue with your one x.

    The errors starting with E are bootup errors. Had one of them on the original Xbox One.

    I fixed the issue back in the days by doing a hard factory reset since my games are on an external hdd. After doing that you could do an offline update. All you need is a spare USB Stick with at least 4 GB. After doing the offline Update you should be fine.

    I would say that if you are getting any kind of "E" error to try the startup error wizard at "I need help with system updates on my Xbox One".

    Have you tried entering the code on Xbox.com to see if that would work instead?
