EpicGames not linking properly

Hiya,

My daughters recently received an xbox1 - i set up a family group (big pain in the hoop for 4 children!). Each child plays fortnite and needed their epicgames linked to their profile/account. This went fine for until the last account. I followed the instructions
as i had for the previous accounts and linked epicgames. When that child tried to play fortnite, it instructed her to link epicgames again. She cant play until this is figured out because she wants her scores saved. I restarted the console after each account
was linked, and have already tried that a few times.

I dont know what else to do as i really dont want to set up another epicgames account for the same child.

Can someone give me advice on how to proceed from here please?

Hello, I would try going to the Epic games website and linking manually on there. If that doesn't work try contacting their support team

No error messages, when Fortnite loads up it just goes straight to the link account screen just the exact same way as if it had never been linked in the first place. I tried re-linking the account and i cant remember what error message I got then, but
it wouldnt accept it.

That would still be a question most suited for Epic Support. With Xbox support, we can only make sure the game launches normally. After that, I recommend contacting Epic games as suggested above. This is their support link : Epic

Aside from that, if you can let us know the exact error message you receive, we can try to help as best as we can.

Can I unlink the account and try again? Is that possible?

What happens when you try to link it? Do you get any specific error messages? I would definitely try going directly through the epic games site. You may want to check and make sure all the online safety and privacy settings are set accurately for her account
as well.
