Epic Friends - Cross Platform

Would you be able to help? I have 2 kids on my Microsoft family accound both have child accounts, but only 1 account seems to have the cross platform enabled? how do I change this on both accounts so they can play cross platform with all their friends and
togeather?

How do i get the crossplatform to show on my fortnite settings?

Hey there, to access cross-platform you'll need to link your Epic account to Xbox Live. You will also have to have a friend who's not on Xbox to enable the cross-platform servers!

 

Fortnite cross platform

cross platform will automatically happen as soon as a PC player joins you.

In the EPIC game launcher on PC you van add friends. Those friends will appear as online in your game on Xbox.

From there you can create a cross platform party.

 

As the parent account, you'll need to log in to this site to change the settings for the child accounts. Sign in to your Microsoft account

 

Cross platform will work on the platform not the account.

On a Windows system you need to make sure all accounts are added to the PC and added into the FAMILY on the PC.

On the Xbox, the account that has purchased the game will need to be signed in OR have the account that purchased the game set as HOME.

 

MS are aware of the cross platform bug and are working on it, please check the title below for updates, apologies its not clickable as this forum one let me paste cross links to other posts

BUG - Cross platform play does not enable for child accounts no matter what settings you set. This needs EPIC/MS attention

We are aware of the issue. It was put in intentionally due to Microsoft wanting the parent account to be allowed to manage the option for cross play or not. Unfortunately, it taking longer than expected
to add it to the settings for parents to manage. We expect an update on this situation soon.
