Epic Fortnite 2 game id’s and signing in to 2nd console

Hello AaronMo22, unfortunately you can't, so you can do what you want your two kids to play Fortnite together even though you're on different platforms, each will have to have your Xbox (Microsoft) account linked to a different Epic account.

Each will have to have their own Epic account, and their own Xbox account.

The big question is, once you link an account to the Epic account, it will no longer let you switch counts for another to be used.

Are you really sure, that your sons are using different Fortnite Gamer ID's and are really connected to your one single Epic account?

Usually, both your sons should then only have one Fortnite Gamer ID.

Please check under https://www.epicgames.com/account/connections what connections are made on your Epic Account.

Be aware that according to https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-U...sole-account-from-my-epic-games-account-a3253 you can NOT move an Epic Account connection to a different account of the same service.

For example, if you disconnect the Xbox Account from your Epic Account (i.e. Son#2's profile), you can't connect a new Xbox account to the same Epic Account anymore.

So unfortunately, unless the Epic customer support can resolve that on their end, there is nothing you (or your son) can do but to make a new Epic account for the kid(s) themselves.

To avoid such issues in the future: Make sure that you make separate accounts for your kids in every game, and do NOT use your parent account to "bundle" your kids under one account.

if you purchase them via microsoft store then you need to sign into an xbox console and load fortnite for them to sync across to epic, to purchase for fortnite on pc it has to be done via the epic store or in game.

buying on microsoft store is for console only.

fortnite uses epic account, you need to sign into epic and change the tag there, you can do this for free every 2 weeks too.

they are added to your microsoft account and sync to epic when you sign into fortnite via console or cloud. if you play on pc then request a refund then purchase via epic or in game only.
