    I am trying to figure out how to tell if there is an epic account linked to my Microsoft account. I just made a new epic account and I tried to link it to my Microsoft account, but it said that there was already one linked to my account.

    Epic account

    Background: a xbox live account and a epic account.

    Those were connected and Everything worked but a month ago it suddenly was not possible to logg in to Epic account.

    We are usint Xbox one.

    Windows is updated and there are approx 10 month left on the Xbox live payment.

    We've run out of ideas. Please help.

    Xbox account already linked to an epic account

    So I’ve been trying to link my epic Games account to my Xbox account but it shows that My Xbox account has already been linked to another epic games account. Is there anyway to see which epic account my xbox account is linked to?

    Hi Finlays,

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have an issue with your Epic account. Unfortunately, an Epic account is separate from an Xbox account. If you add an email on your Microsoft account, it will not change it automatically on the Epic account.
    You need to change it manually on the Epic account. If you are having issues with the Epic account, you need to reach out to
    Epic game support.

    The purchases and battle pass are linked to your son's EPIC account.

    So if you made a new EPIC account and linked the gamertag to that, of course no previous purchases are there.

    You need to link your son's Xbox Gamertag account to the correct EPIC account with which you made the previous purchases.

    BUT BEWARE!!! If you only used the console to link to an EPIC account WITHOUT making that first EPIC Account a

    "full EPIC account" as described here    , it might be that your purchases are now lost!!!

    If you need help with that, you would have to contact the EPIC support from the link above using the "Contact us" button at the bottom of the page.

    Linking epic games account to sons new live account?

    Hi there,

    as far as I know there are options to disconnect an Epic account from an Xbox Live account and options to link an Epic account to an Xbox Live Account, so my assumption is that it could be possible.

    But I have Not tried this myself so I'm not sure and there might be a risks involved.

    you would need to contact epic, also once unlinking an epic account from an xbox account you can only link that same epic account back
