Entering in text and sending on Windows 10 XBOX APP

When in a club and USING ONLY WINDOWS 10, when Im in the CHAT section, i can type in the text box something, but when i hit the return key it doesnt put in text, its like the ENTER key wont allow it to send text... works fine on xbox or mobile device

That is a known problem with the Windows 10 app but currently there is no fix.

What version of Windows 10: Windows 10 Home, 21H2

I clicked the Windows 10 link you send and updated.

All Xbox Apps are up to date in the store.

Still no success.

live chat on xbox.com, on the console, or on the Windows 10 app? It is still on the Windows 10 app, but generally you can't send live chats unless you are on the phone and Windows 10 apps or in the Clubs on the console.

Thanks for reaching out to us today. Now just for clarification, what kind of error are you getting when trying to send messages through your Xbox? What happens if you attempt to send a message through the Xbox App or online? Have you attempted
using the Xbox app mobile or on Windows?

Go ahead and follow these steps:

Sign in at
account.live.com/reputationcheck.
Add your phone number, then select Send code.
Get the code from the text message sent to your phone, enter it on the webpage, and select
Submit.
If you’re using your Xbox, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to turn it off, then turn it on and sign back in. If you’re on a PC or mobile device, sign out of the Xbox app, then sign back in.
