Sunset overdrive was unlocked in the store but no option to install it.

Hello,

just bought my Xbox One and wanted to play sunset overdrive (was a bundle). So i entered the code in the store. The code got accepted but the game does not appear anywhere. Ergo i can't install it.

Sunset Overdrive download disappeared

Hi guys, I just got my Sunset Overdrive Xbox One, and just got it set up. I went entered my Sunset Overdrive code and it started to download, but then it disappeared from my download queue and I can't figure out how to get it back. Please help me!

I feel your pain. The game installed but I bought the deluxe edition and the extra content is either inaccessible or just not there to begin with. This is becoming a trend with digital download pre loads and it is getting old.

Yeah same thing happened to me , Im gonna wait and Call 18004MYXBOX in the morning when there open hopefully they can give me another code or fix the problem. This is not a good first impression with my new Xbox One -_-

Okay so the dude jmw talked to was actually more knowledgeable on this issue! I don't know if it's the same for anyone else. So apparently on the scratch off card there are two codes, one for the game itself and another DLC. He scratched off the middle assuming
that was the code, but it was the DLC code and the actual game code was scrunched up at the top where he didn't scratch it off. He feels dumb, but it's downloading now!

Sorry to hear about the Season Pass issue. Let's make sure it's not in the 'Ready to install' queue. Navigate to the Sunset Overdrive tile and press the menu button on your controller to get to 'Manage game'. When you're in the Manage Sunset Overdrive screen,
the 'Ready to install' group should have all of your digital items listed, including the Sunset Overdrive Season Pass.

Check there and let us know if you're able to download it!

If the console that you purchased was the Sunset Overdrive bundle then please scratch the entire area of the card as there are two codes there. One for DLC (which you probably already entered) and the other for the full game.

If you entered both codes and it is not listed as downloading in My Games & Apps then head to Games section of My Games & Apps and scroll all the way to the right until you see Ready to Download.

Out of interest, i picked some other random game and downloaded it, it installed fine. Just can't get Sunset Overdrive to work

Hey there oK1NGS T4L3NTo!

Sorry to hear about the game install issues. If you haven't already, try pressing the menu button while Sunset Overdrive is highlighted and press 'Pause installation' and then 'Resume installation' continue to see if that triggers it install. If that doesn't
work, I recommend Uninstalling and Reinstalling Sunset Overdrive.

Post back and let us know how that goes!

Sorry to hear it. I can't speak for the Mortal Kombat code but I do know that the Sunset Overdrive card has two codes on it, not one. One code for DLC and the other for the full game.

This may be true for the Mortal Kombat bundle as well.

Be sure to scratch the entire card area to get both codes to enter because you may have only downloaded the DLC for the game and not the game itself.
