Discus and support Enter Code from the console update screen in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; See other threads with the same question....none that solves my issue and the threads being closed because of the issue being revived by another...     See other threads with the same question....none that solves my issue and the threads being closed because of the issue being revived by another thread. When closing threads, why not add the new thread in the close statement to assist users?

    Anyway, onto my issue.

    Unable to contact the Android XBox App to my console. My console has a Wired Connection. When I attempt to sign into the App, I receive an error stating "Something went wrong - (9vhFfC4Grx6os8B.4.4).

    I attempt to set up console and I am asked to Enter the Code from the console update screen. I've gone to the Ipdate Console screen, I do not see a 6 character code and my console is up to date.

    Any assistance would be helpful. Being attempting to resolve for about a week now.

    I got stuck on this too. I found a workaround.

    When I tried to add the xbox from the homescreen/dashboard "Set up an xbox one" I got the useless 'enter code' screen.

    When I selected Console from the side menu, the app searched for the xbox and found it. It didn't require any code entry.

    I think the code entry bit only works during initial setup. Though MS fail to tell you this.

    I'm not sure this will work for an ethernet connection. But might help others.

    As stated my XBox Wired connected. I have no issues with my XBox being online, playing and receiving updates.

    My issue is related to connecting the XBox App on Android to my XBox. I had no issues until a recent update on the console and App.

    I was able to see which of my friends were online and make purchases or start downloads through the Microsoft Store in the App or Game Pass.

    Is your phone connected to the wifi or mobile data?

    I belive you have to be connected to the same WiFi as the xbox do the first connect.
    Phone is connected to Wifi.
