    wasted 40 minutes to update my console for the 3rd time this week.

    enough with the system updates

    If you're a part of the Preview Program. You'll get System updates often.

    Depending on the number of games you have installed, each game developer will push out their own game updates and the Xbox checks for game updates in the background.

    enough with the system updates

    If your part of the preview program you will get updates very often, if you don't like this may I suggest that you leave the preview program.

    Its your decision, but if you want to test the latest features you cant complain when you get regular updates.

    ENOUGH WITH THE DAILY UPDATES!!!!

    If you wish to no longer be in the Xbox Preview program and have daily updates then you can choose to opt out of it by opening the Preview App, clicking on "registration" selecting "Change" and "remove"

    Microsoft is pre-loading the update for the public if it wasn't pre-loaded then it wouldn't run the OS as fast as it can.

    You are free to post in the preview program forums (forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx) regarding this but i doubt much impact would be
    made, you can also opt out of the program using the Preview dashboard app if you feel like you don't want to be in the program anymore.

    Only the 3rd time? It's done a daily 20-30 minute update every day for at least a week here. And yeah this post should really be in the preview program forums.

    Same here, 5 daily updates, i wouldnt mind but its always when im gaming!!! can you not do it at 3am or sometime when im not on, after all you do have access to my usage habits!! a/lso i spent a good few minutes composing an error log of of a recent crash,
    only to find that when i clicked to send it kept saying "message failed" cannot be sent at the moment!! Rant over...

    Hey there UKD MANTRONIX and SpartanChick316 as i stated they are pre-loading the update which can be seen as a good thing.

    You can opt out of the program at any given time by following the steps FearedNightmare has made, if you wish to stay in the program then there isn't much you can do stop these updates.
