Enhanced error reporting

Discus and support Enhanced error reporting in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I see a message saying , to turn off enhanced error reporting I must first leave the insider program .     Enhanced error reporting


    I see a message saying , to turn off enhanced error reporting I must first leave the insider program . I thought this was a standard message that everyone would receive when opting out not to send enhanced error reports .Thought I might test this and
    so I went and purchased 2 brand new still in the box never been used Xbox X consoles . The reason I chose the Xbox X was purely because it is what my profile uses and exist only on 1 Xbox console . While setting up the two new consoles each with a different
    newly created Microsoft accounts the message to first leave the insider program never appeared when opting out of sending enhanced error reports . After a week still no message beside the unchecked box . Until I closed both accounts performed a factory reset
    and removed my profile from my Xbox console , not before removing it as my home console performed a factory reset and checked if there were any Xbox consoles linked to my account , which at this point was 0 .Then applied my profile to one of the new consoles
    and the message to first leave the insider program now appears . Despite not being on the insider program , how is this occurring

    i am an XBox Live Gold member.

    However, when I accessed the Console Info area within settings, the only options are: Change the name of my console, Reset the console or Allow enhanced error reporting.

    If I'm not mistaken, the Enhanced error reporting is part of being in an Insiders preview, so you would have to unenroll from whatever preview you're in, which would mean a factory reset to bring the console in line with General Availability OS release.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently inquiring about how to report bugs on your console.

    If you are using
    Enhanced error reporting     on your account, then you automatically submit info every time a game or app crashes.

    However, you can go a step further and
    provide feedback as an Xbox Insider    . This allows you to provide additional info in regards to something specifically, and should thus allow developers of games or apps to work on a fix post-haste. Alternatively some developers provide additional peripherals
    from which to provide feeback from.
