    Enhance Xbox game streaming and home console features for better flexibility and reliability


    Xbox offers great features like Remote Play and the Home Console system, but there’s still room for improvement to make these tools more powerful, stable, and user-friendly — especially for players who share consoles or play across multiple devices.

    Suggestions for Xbox Streaming & Remote Play: – Improve streaming quality and stability, especially on slower connections – Add custom streaming settings (resolution, bitrate, performance mode) – Let users stream from any console they own, not just the Home Console – Add multi-user streaming support (e.g. split-screen or co-op over Remote Play) – Enable background streaming while using other apps on the console

    Suggestions for Home Console Functionality: – Allow multiple Home Consoles per account (e.g. for players with multiple Xboxes in one household) – Add a “Temporary Home Console” mode for travel or shared use – Improve clarity and control over which console is set as Home – Let users remotely switch Home Console via the Xbox app or web – Add notifications when Home Console settings are changed

    These improvements would make Xbox more flexible for modern players who game across devices, share consoles with family or friends, or want to stream and play anywhere.

    Why you choose to stick with xbox? Porque escogiste quedarte con xbox?

    Most of my family are currently on PS4 or PC, but around my house I find I have more flexibility with Xbox. Between being able to stream my games to my PC when my kids want to use TV, or simply because of backwards compatibility (or better yet, streaming
    my BC games to my PC.) Also, I like the features like Game Pass, that allows me to download the actual games I want to try out on the service.

    Just to add:

    I understand there are more features to the fee, like video chat and stuff, but bundling it in with streaming things like Netflix is plain wrong.

    There is no flexibility for a wide range of users.

    Totally agree. HDMI passthrough when the device is OFF is a very significant feature. Having to turn on the console and navigate the menus every time you just want to watch TV is a burden. This type of flexibility would be an awesome feature. Modern
    Home Ent. receivers today have the passthrough feature when the unit is turned off.

    Most likely it was an update for the "Xbox One X Enhanced" feature with better 4K resolution and HDR support. Many titles are having this update.
