Enforcements. Are they the culprit or a victim?

When doing enforcements, you take the word of the person doing the reporting.

    What else is looked into?

For family accounts, why not ask the parents regarding suspensions, enforcements. The person being suspended may actually be the victim of cyber bullying and you would effectively be letting the offenders continue without and punishment.

This is happenening all too often in the real world and the victims are upset when they are sanctioned.

Also, the person being enforced may have mental health issues that you are not aware of and thios is how they are.

Just putting enforcements on them is not actually helping.

My son has been banned, AGAIN, and I can assure you that he has people calling him things on a regular occurance. But because he gets angry and retaliates, the people "his so called friends" report him because they think it's funny.

Well let me assure you that it is not funny as it's the parents of these victims that have to deal with the outcome.

Please help us to help them, make the online community a better inclusive place for everyone.

When you send enforcement notices out, put details of times, dates, etc. so that we can find out what has happened.

And don't just listen to the person putting in the complaint. They may be the culprit in all this.

    :)

I have checked on the enforcement site but I could not submit a case review.

It also gives no details of times or dates as to when the incident happened.

From what I can gather, it is from what was spoken and this is nothing that can be investigated unless all chat is recorded.

As mentioned people could report you a thousand times a day, as long as you're not doing anything wrong Enforcement will see that when they investigate. When someone reports you they don't just take that persons word. They investigate each report thoroughly
and make a decision from there.

You may want to read up on some enforcement myths - https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/home/howto#sub-topic0-5

Unfortunately if the suspension is not eligible for a case review, then all you can do is review the reason they gave for the suspension and discuss it with your son. If needed, you may need to review the code of conduct with him. You may also want to report
the ones who are baiting your son and block communications with them as well.

The enforcement team do not just take the word of the person reporting. They investigate messages, gameplay, etc., whatever they need to in order to determine if someone did infact violate they code of conduct. No one is suspended just because they received
a report. If your son was suspended, you would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com for information on why and to see about submitting a case review.

Xbox Code of Conduct and it's lack of priorities.

It makes me wonder whether the enforcement team is that lousy or if they are intentionally going after victims of cyber bullying.
