One thing that we're maybe forgetting...

Why do you think the xbox one has mandatory checks on games within 24hours and Sony doesn't? It's blatantly obvious Sony won't enforce the same level DRM as the xbox one.

    Enforcement

Stop breaking the rules & they'll stop giving you suspensions.

You can see info on your suspension & file for a case review if eligible on the enforcement site
    here

  6. Enforcement is a joke. They suspend and banned people who speak for the right to tell others to play nice, but cheaters still kept playing while we as good gamers getting banned and suspend.. Guess they enjoy eating too much donuts and drinking coffees>

They put an enforcement onto my account for communication, whats funny... i only text,, i don't use mic... its funny how they block our right of speech... Its clear Enforcement supports cheaters...

Communications is not limited to talking through a mic.

    It covers messages as well.

Your right to free speech does not apply to xbox live.

Then the "real gamer" should have report "Little Timmy" for camping and using racial slurs.

If the "Real Gamer" had done that they wouldn't get banned.

Hello, my son is banned for 15 days, the thing is i got the message and i immediately checked his xbox live messages, didnt see anything suspicious. Then i got on my personal account and contacted his friends in a party and they
all said he hasn't said anything or talked about anybody in a hurtful way. Please tell me why they dont actually investigate these cases because i cant stand their policies for banning ive been banned myself but i dont even have a mic or use the messages.

Incorrect false statement from an Ambassador.

You have the legal right to free speech. People have free speech who don't include swearing calling names etc in it. You can say what you want while complying with the code of conduct. I quote from the Xbox Terms of Use.
    default page

    8. APPLICABLE LAW.

    • a. United States and Canada. If you acquired the application in the United States or Canada, the laws of the state or province where you live (or, if a business, where your principal place of business is located) govern the interpretation of this
agreement and applies to claims for breach of it and all other claims (including consumer protection, unfair competition and tort claims) regardless of conflict of laws principles.
    • b. Outside the United States and Canada. If you acquired the application in any other country, the laws of that country apply.

Note Mr Ambassador, section b. Australia and NZ and UK have laws known as human rights. We have the right to free speech. Just like forums. Not everyone agrees with what we write because we have the reasonable right to express our self in a reasonable
manner. However, Microsoft has rules which outline how we should behave. For instance, Australian/NZ citizens laws apply in interpreting the contract. The law made by government is above the contract made by a company, not a government.

What people should do is exercise restraint when it comes to bad words, racist, sexist, and name calling. And this is what the Code of Conduct implies. It does not imply it takes away our freedom of speech. Just to clarify this if the OP reads this. Taking
our right to free speech would mean that we act like robots and not express ourselves in a reasonable manner. Xbox encourages diversity, not just a group of serious mature adults.

    Not incorrect.

Freedom of speech does not apply to private businesses. When you sign up for Live, you agree to their terms of service and code of conduct which basically states that if you violate any of their terms, they have to right to suspend or cancel your service
no matter what country you are in.

Been doing this a very long time & know how things work.

Maybe do some more research next time you want to try & call someone out.

  12. Freedom of speech as well as the right, whether directly or indirectly, to defend one self was ruled on years ago.

No where did I ever read in that USSC ruling that private or public businesses were excluded. And no. "You agreed" does not in any way negate The Law/Your Rights, otherwise. "He/She agreed to being a slave, or... whatever" would give say private plantation
owners who conducte 'private business' legal justification to conduct business in an inhuman manor.

There is no such thing as free speech in the private sector. Look it up sometime. Here Electro, I'll even save you the time and backup my claim, despite the fact that you've never been able to do the same. Now once you finish reading, please stop spreading
    misinformation.

    LMGTFY

If you come into my house and say something I don't like, I have every right to kick you out. The same applies to businesses, they can refuse to serve you for any reason they see fit. If you do/say something on LIVE that MS does not like, then they have
every right to kick you off their property (LIVE).

Did you read my post and link at all? According to their terms of service read what they quoted. If you live outside the US. Australia and Nz have the bill of rights. Legal legislation. A company cannot overturn legislation. Microsoft does not have the authority.
They are not a government. American laws do not apply in australia and nz. Read section 8b.
