I got banned on from communications for a week. Im pissed because I was not told why I was banned and have no realistic way of finding out. (If you think filling out a questionnaire is the answer you are the problem) As a player I have the right to know
how I was banned. If I wasn't told what I did wrong, how do I stop it in the future??

One thing that we're maybe forgetting...

Why do you think the xbox one has mandatory checks on games within 24hours and Sony doesn't? It's blatantly obvious Sony won't enforce the same level DRM as the xbox one.

I understand where you’re coming from however the Xbox Enforcement Team does not use these forums and won't give specifics as why you are banned, its a rule you agree upon signing up an account
with Xbox in the beginning also the questionnaire form is for your own good to familiarize yourself about the rules on Xbox in which if you broke you will get punish when reported.

Now for information about your account suspensions or bans sign in at this site with your account at https://enforcement.xbox.com



Only an actual person from the Xbox Live Enforcement Team can impose or remove a suspension or ban on the account. - "Despite what some may claim, Xbox Live Policy
& Enforcement Team will never ever ban anyone “for no reason”. Suspensions always occur as a result of a specific Code of Conduct violation.

Code of conduct violations encompass a number of situations, including, but not limited to:

• Engaging in communications that claim or imply that you are Xbox staff
  
• Having a Gamertag or profile content that contains hate speech or profanity
  
• Using in game exploits to gain an unfair advantage over other players
  
• Hacking, Modding or Cheating
  

If you want to contact the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team you can file a Case Review - You can't file a Case Review if the suspension is less than 24 hours or you failed the questionnaire.

There is no stopping it sadly. Anyone can file a communications report against you for any reason and it will take affect in minutes. The Case Review system doesn't seems to work at all and it's impossible to contact anyone on the Enforcement Team. There
doesn't seem to be any repercussions for filling false reports so your best bet is to not talk to anyone ever and hope people don't abuse the system against you in the future.

 

A case review is a way to dispute enforcement action. If you review the code of conduct and terms of use of Xbox, the reasons to get suspended or banned are all there if the rules are broken. The Enforcement team can only be contacted using a case review
and they can't be personally contacted for security reason and prevent abuse of contact. False report can fireback as investigation takes time if there is indeed a violation of the rules or not.

Majority of XBL users use voice, chat without any trouble as they abide by the rules, is that simple to be safe from being banned.
