Enforcement United FAQ: No I'm not a liar 'aka Scratch'.

On this board I've been called a liar by a VIP, that the information I posted about forced name changes being issued automatically based on the votes of Ambassadors in the Enforcement United Program was incorrect.

Really?

Here is the official FAQ
http://enforcement.xbox.com/United/Learn/FAQ
. This is information direct from Microsoft, direct from the people who run the Enforcement United Program.
Automatically determine there was a violation and apply an enforcement action (e.g. require a member to change an inappropriate Gamertag)

Automatically determine there was no violation with no impact to the account in question

Escalate the complaint for one of our enforcers to review, if there was insufficient data or a lack of clear consensus from participants
Now you notice those two bolded sections. They clearly state that only in the case where the
majority of Ambassadors do not agree will the complaint on the gamertag reach a member of the Enforcement TeamSo how is it not the case that enforcement action is being taken automatically based on Ambassador votes? Where is this information that the official
Enforcement United FAQ is incorrect.

I'll quite happily admit when I am wrong but when I am called a liar because I post official information from Microsoft then I will not accept it.

:)

Xbox enforcement
You have no enforcement powers whatsoever.
Sadly not completely true.

If enough members of Enforcement United think a gamertag is offensive then a FNC is automatically applied. So technically you are having enforcement action taken on you by Ambassadors.

From the Enforcement United - FAQ.

It's a very small amount of enforcement power but it does exist.

ENFORCEMENT ISSUES

lol you might want to read the rest of enforcement United faq because you are missing the important part

Enforcement United is a community based review system for Enforcement action however votes are not final say

It is tallied and forwarded to the pet team and sent to multiple teams for further review so ambassadors don't have final say on enforcement matters lollolwe just help cut down the workload of research the ones in enforcement United and FYI it's a lot of
work

That's why I try and avoid it

But pet still have final say on issuing the bans

Enforcement United means the ambassadors members have to have no enforcement history and be active in the enforcement United beta

ToTo find out why and not nessarily proof

You need to file a case review

If the msg has a curse word they won't tell you what word was as a they are also bound by the rules

IfIf you filed and it was upheld all you can do is change your behaviour

Enforcement United FAQ: No I'm not a liar 'aka Scratch'.

A few things to note here.

Here's the thread in question -
forums.xbox.com/.../4710481.aspx

You do not know what the gamertag of the user was before it was changed.

You do not know how the enforcement was issued in this particular case.

You do not know how exactly the algorithm works.

I never said you were a liar in my post.

Your bolded sections are missing the words "the system may" and another section "To be clear, no individual member will wield unchecked power over another." which is in the FAQ.

You're post insinuates that all FNC's are done by rogue Ambassadors and that none of them are ever looked at. I appreciate your concern here and I agree it's not completely clear. (although, your first post says the problem is it's not completely clear
but in this post it is completely clear). I don't disagree that it could be clearer one way or the other. However, regardless of the details you DO NOT know the circumstances surrounding this individuals FNC so commenting on it stating "but the problem
is that with the introduction of Enforcement United
" when you DO NOT know serves only to negatively spin something to someone who is already emotionally charged isn't needed.

You're enthusiasm and concern to make the program accountable is noted and appreciated. If you feel this is happening then no doubt others do as well and it's something that might need addressed. There's a right way and a wrong way to go about it. This
is a pretty good example of the wrong way. I've passed the feedback on to the appropriate people. Thanks.
