That is the only way to contact the enforcement team & as the suspension happened 1 day ago I doubt you did as it'd take longer than that for them to re investigate your sons account & make a decision.

I suspect that whoever you spoke to was not a member of the enforcement team & shouldn't be telling you there was no inappropriate communication.

The Enforcement team don't browse the forums, so nobody here is able to address your problem.

A "communications suspension" is one of the lightest punishments they issue, and all it does is disable voice chat/messaging for 1-14 days, typically. He's still able to play games online, though.

You probably don't see the offending message because it was either deleted by your son, or it was deleted by the Enforcement team after the suspension was issued.

If it is Support I hate to tell you but Support can't read your msgs

If it was an enforcement team member it would've been reviewed and the reason given

If it wasn't the first chargecharge

The only persons who can check your msgs is the enforcement team

Microsoft Comments On Alleged Skype And Upload Bans

Yesterday some Reddit users reported that Microsoft had banned their accounts for “past behavior” making use of Skype and Upload Studio impossible. We reached out to Microsoft for comment on the matter.



“To be clear, the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement team does not monitor direct peer-to-peer communications like Skype chats and calls,” a Microsoft representative told Game Informer via email. “Also, we take Code of Conduct moderation via Upload Studio very
seriously. We want a clean, safe and fun environment for all users. Excessive profanity as well as other Code of Conduct violations will be enforced upon and result in suspension of some or all privileges on Xbox Live. We remain committed to preserving and
promoting a safe, secure and enjoyable experience for all of our Xbox Live members.”



Without monitoring peer-to-peer Skype calls, there is no way that Microsoft could have banned anyone for foul language in that app. However, users would do well to keep voice overs on uploaded clips clean. Foul language there
can get you suspended and, possibly, banned.

Let’s continue this review. After knowing my son’s perceived “crime”, I looked into the situation. I reviewed the alleged offending conversation and found that after my son made the comment [Mod Removed - Personal Information] decided
to call my son “[Mod Removed - Inappropriate]” and “trash”. I find that offensive and assume
[Mod Removed - Personal Information] has been suspended as well, right? Calling someone “[Mod Removed - Inappropriate]” and “trash” in this derogatory manner is certainly offensive based on the enforcement teams ability to
read connotation into a person’s typed words, right? The enforcement team has decided how to parent my child because i had to have a conversation with him about his words and their possible adult inferences. A 10 year old should not have to learn about how
some adults use those words negatively, but the enforcement team has decided i should. I would love to have this conversation with the enforcement team member who conducted this “review”, but of course there’s no way to contact them because they’re cowards
afraid to face alleged offenders in an adult way with any sense of fairness.
