Enforcement Team needs to rethink their tactics

So my comms are banned for 24 hrs because somebody went out of their way to message me in a rude manner and then reported me for my reply. I was talking on the mic during a pve match on Paladins, talking about how bad we were all doing and trying to give
my input. It's not like I was cussing or being hateful or telling them to kill themselves, which we all either hear or do sometimes. When dude messaged me to tell me to shut up. Granted my reply was colorful, but if xbox wants to be mommies and daddies then
they should teach these sensitive kids that "shut up" is a mean and hurtful thing to say to somebody and that that type of disrespect has the chance of bringing out the **** in people. I don't think "private messages" should fall under the conduct terms when
you are replying to someone who messaged you first as long as you're not promoting hate or illegal behavior. I could see if I messaged him first and was talking like that but that is not the case here. Dude could have just muted me if he didn't want to hear
me but they see it as I was in the wrong. I was really upset that it took them a whole 2 minutes to ban me but don't have the time to offer reviews or support for your side of the story when it's only a 24hr ban. I know 24hrs doesn't seem like much to people
who haven't got banned or to those who don't really communicate on xbox but it really puts a damper on gameplay and now I have a mark on my record that could influence further actions in the future. What's more is he messaged me again and I replied (both just
trash talk , no profanity) and then I blocked him. Which is when I guess he reported me. So all in all I got banned for standing my ground and then walking away? Apparently he didn't care about my language until he could no longer contact me back and keep
it going. Now I can't do anything on any xbox services that involves communicating with people. Weirdly enough that includes viewing club activity feeds (needs to change). Xbox is so worried about trying to shield peoples ears that they don't care about all
the disrespectful things other do that draw out the vulgar language in others. They say in their terms that it's not just cuss words but that they take things in context as well. Well they should have looked at the context of the manner in which this started
because my message might have been mean and vulgar but it cannot be considered offensive. No matter how aggressive or violent a reaction to an attack is (yes his behavior should be considered an attack) it can only be considered defensive in the laws of nature.
Which in the words of Darren Cross "The laws of nature supersedes the laws of man." They should also have looked to see how long the convo went on and if it escalated or not before the report was submitted and who blocked whom first. And if the plaintive is
only reporting out of spite or not. I just want my mark off my record and my comms back but that wont happen. So I'll settle for seeing if anyone here agrees with me on xbox enforcement needing to make a change. I know not everyone will but maybe their are
some who believe that poking your head into a strangers window might get you knocked out.

all my controllers do this..i think they need to rethink the design unless their goal is to sell more controllers

 

There are some very questionable and inconsistent decisions made by the enforcement team because there is no accountability.
Any system like this will be open to abuse.
