Discus and support [Enforcement Team] Changed Gamertag in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I was just talking to "Alen" from Account Support and he informed me I needed to post a thread regarding the change of my gamertag....     I was just talking to "Alen" from Account Support and he informed me I needed to post a thread regarding the change of my gamertag.

    I'm truly sorry Riley, I have tried a couple of times to gain access to grant your request but it seems to be that I cannot see any reports yet how or why your gamertag has changed to default again. Please have our enforcement team be informed regarding

    Basically, heres my issue. The other night I tried changing my gamertag to "Moist Thot" when I did so it said "Sorry, that name is reserved" and still charged my Paypal. I contacted a Support Agent and he got it situated for me. He asked me my new gamertag
    multiple times to confirm and even laughed at the name. He said it was not offensive and proceeded to process the Paypal payment. Earlier today it was changed. I tried getting a refund but the agent told me I needed to contact the Enforcement Team, hence this
    post.
    So now, I need to figure out if my name is going to be changed back so I don't have to spend another $9.99, if it's not am I going to get refunded or do I need to make this a bigger deal than it is for $9.99.
    TL;DR - Name was changed, I took pictures of the conversation myself and the Support Agent had confirming the name was not offensive and it was still changed. Refund or name name.

    A while ago my Xbox gamertag was changed, which was unauthorized, and I can't change it back without paying now. How can I change it back?

    To be honest, I don't think you even need a brain to understand why it was changed from Mr[OozyBubble]. you don't need to approve.

    You would need to post here from an official answer from the enforcement team -

    But it doesn't matter whether the support member you spoke to said it was offensive or not. It is up to the enforcement team to determine if a name violates the code of conduct. If they determine it does, they will change it and you will have to pay to change
    it to something else.

    I received a message from the enforcement team telling me my GT was "inappropriate". I called customer service who could not tell me why my GT violated the code of conduct. My old GT had no profanity, hate speech, content of a sexual nature, illegal, religious,
    etc. The customer service people told me I had to contact the enforcement team on the forum to get my gamertag restored or $9.99 back so I can change my gamertag from the new one that I was assigned. Or I could be issued a 2 month xbox live credit to compensate
    me for the problem that was created with my GT change.

    You would still need to post here to get an official answer from the enforcement team -

    They won't give you any kind of compensation though.

    Your previous tag is clearly against the code of conduct,the only reason you got away with it on the 360 is because no had reported it until now.

    The terms you agreed to when you started your account were your notification & as it states in the ToC Microsoft can change your tag to a auto generated one if your previous one is against the rules.

    You will not get your previous tag back & if you want to change the one you have now you will have to pay,you will not get a free change.

    To many forced name changes will result in a permanent ban.

    Still think I should be allowed to pick a proper name or at least get rid of all those numbers.
