    Enforcement team bans


    So why does the enforcement team think its okay for a player to harass another to the point of them speaking out about said player then banning the one who spoke out due to the one harrassing without the other having actions taken against them after multiple
    reports and saying the victim is still at fault. So from what this turns out to be, if they decide to take legal action since harrassment is a crime, would xbox be held liable since they did nothing to prevent this and made it seem like it was acceptable?

    Customer support can't do anything about bans, it is the Enforcement team that handle anything and everything to do with bans, and there is no live chat option for the Enforcement team, the only methods of communication between ourselves and the Enforcement
    team is when a report is filed, and a case review is submitted.

    Chech https://enforcement.xbox.com for the ban-reason and ways to possibly lift the ban. The enforcement team usually doesn't ban people/consoles for no reason. Either someone reported you or the enforcement team noticed stuff.

    There's nothing about bans or any other enforcement actions we at xbox ambassadors can do.

    The Enforcement team are useless bud. I was banned permanently for the same thing but the enforcement team dont care.

    I reported the user multiple times and even had the enforcement team review the case. Their end result was its still my fault and the other use did nothing wrong .
    Thats because it doesnt matter how a situation starts. If you respond with anything against the code of conduct you can be suspended as well because you broke the same rules the other player did by retaliating. They won't tell you if the other player will
    be suspended or not but as long as you reported then and they have broken the code of conduct then they will have action taken against them as well.

    Two wrongs dont make a right.

    In the future if you get someone who is harassing you dont respond, block then and report them and just move on.

    The case review would only be for a suspension on your account. They would not give you any information regarding anyone else's suspension.

    It doesn't matter how a situation starts. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you can be punished. Just report and block.
