Enforcement rules for Xbox

My son's account has been suspended a few times but I completely agree with some of the enforcement. What I don't understand is how his Gamertag is a community standards violation. They just removed his Gamertag and gave him a generic one. I tried to get an explanation on how it violated the but it was just a vague statement. It doesn't tell how he violated the community standards. Xbox needs to be more forthcoming with these reasons for violations. The Community Standards document is another legal mumble jumble to me. They make it look simple but it is vague and tries to cover everything with little detail.

I will post the Gamertag they changed that we originally paid for "LightskinMP3". I don't understand the reason for the change after it has been active for almost 2 years. We have to pay again to change the generic one they assigned him.

Sign in to https://enforcement.xbox.com with the Microsoft account that received the enforcement action.

1 - Select the handshake icon.

2- Go to your account's enforcement history.

3 - Locate your enforcement action.

4 - Click on "Suspended features".

See therein lies another problem because my Gamertag is worse than his if you want to class it as derogatory. I have had my Gamertag since Xbox Live has been live. So if they had banned him they would also have to ban mine.

I understand what you saying I think they should just block out words that are offensive like Rockstar does with their in game chat. You can't even type certain words in chat and I think thats a good thing. On flipside without the rules they have in
place Xbox will be chaotic. I really thing people just need to be careful with theirs words because you never know who the receiver is at the other end of the message and what impact your words may have on them.

The way that I liken it to is this.

MS wants Xbox to be rated E for everyone.

So lets take for example another business that would be rated E for everyone Chuck E Cheese.

Before going to this establishment there are rules that you are expected to follow because there could be children around.

Ill use cursing as an example you walk into Chuck E Cheese and somebody cuts in line and laughs at you and calls you a name so you curse back at them do you not think the managers at Chuck E Cheese have a right to ask you to leave and if you do not the police
will more then likely be called and you could get arrested for trespassing?

The 1st amendment to the US constitution says that the Government can not make laws infringing on our freedom of speech it says nothing about private companies making rules about it.
