He plays one game - Gears of War. So the GoW community decides his Rep. Since you claim to play, you should understand how toxic the Gears community is. I use to play myself up until Gears 4 came out, so after 10 years I understand how those players are.
Along with Halo, the community is extremely volatile. Also, I'm not sure why or where you're coming up with this 99.9% number, but that's nonsense. 99.9% of XBL users don't have Rep issues? I doubt that's factual. Focusing on Gears alone, I'm sure a much higher
percent than 0.01% has some sort of Rep issue thus proving my point about how toxic those groups of players can be, which is the main reason why I do not want my son using a mic while playing that game. Which brings me to my next point...

How does Microsoft determine a false report compared to a legit one? How is that possible? Because last year I once got a 2 week voice suspension after one of my old friends (we had a falling out) got a bunch of his buddies to search my GT and report me.
Those we all false reports, yet I was still suspended. After that, I stopped playing and let my son give it a shot because he was old enough. You can't defend that, I'm sorry.

You say no communication is just as bad on rep as bad communication? He needs to listen to his "team leaders"? What??? How does that make any sense at all? This just prove my point, the system is extremely flawed. You don't need to communicate to be a team
player. Even if you aren't a good player and you don't have a mic, how is that deserving of a legit report to count against you? How can you or Microsoft be so insensitive? If anything, a report against a player like that should be determined to be a false
    report, not a legit one.

I'm very concerned that Microsoft has you as an Ambassador when you say it's poor sportmanship to not use a mic and be not as good as your teammates. You're assuming that means he doesn't work with his team (again, you sure love to assume things), but that's
untrue. No mic + not as skilled as others = no teamwork & poor sportmanship? That makes no sense at all!!

And one final point, where in the Code of Conduct does it say "players who aren't as good as others and don't use a mic are deserving of a report"? Where? Show me. You're totally wrong. Those reports should be deemed false and not counted against players,
again, which is a big reason why the system is flawed because allowing other players to easily report you for things like that is not right.

  2. Hey there II K1NGK3NNY II,

The Enforcement teams don't actually use the forums, so they wouldn't be able to comment on this situation. They only communicate through the
Case Review process, which wouldn't be applicable here.

To get the reputation back up again, you'll need to keep playing online games with other players and over time it will improve. Playing free to play games and MMO type games such as APB Reloaded or Neverwinter will help you match up with other users and
be able to get your reputation in the green again. You can learn more about the Reputation System and how it works by clicking on this link
    HERE.

If you'd like to see a change to this system and have some suggestions, we'd welcome your feedback on our Xbox Feedback website
    HERE.

Hope that helps to clarify things a bit and thanks for posting!

the avoid player flag on 360 isn't the same as reputation

You should teach your son that his behaviour is a direct affecting his rep just like in real.life

Avoid player flag only reduced the chances of matching with said player nothing g to do with rwputation
If that's the case, then the system on the 360 is clearly superior than the one on the XB1. Are there plans to revisit the broken XB1 Rep system?

Again, my son's behavior is fine. I monitor him often. He doesn't use a mic, doesn't reply to messages, etc. I don't need to be told what I should teach my child from you. I am certain the majority of people reporting him from Gears of War were people who
felt he wasn't good. His behavior has nothing to do with it, but thanks for the advice.

    Take care.

You don't get it do you

    The community decides your rep

If they feel your son is a bad sportmanship thats their opinion and ironically that's the one that counts not yiurs if 99.9% of live has no rep issues then the issue isn't the system

You can blame the system but the system is actually your fellow players

    Which includes 99.9% of live

Xbox isn't the only system with rep blizzard and psn and steam have it in something form

False reports are tossed out and doesn't affect your rep

If positive reports out weight the negative then guess where the negative goes in the trashcan

    You don't get it

Behaviour includes actions and words not a outsider watching in

Really your Son doesn't communicate with his team and yet he is a team.player

    Guess where th teamwork.score goes

You see the issue with your argument

You claim the system is broken but it's not decided by yiu

You claim he is a good sportman yet he doesn't communicate with his team

No communication is just as bad on rep as bad communication

You hav to work with your team period

You don't listen to your team leaders command guess what

    Not team work

So where is the invalid rep?

    That's only one example

A player who refuses to work with a team isn't a team player hence the sportmanship score which is the most common

Not a good player also a valid rep score

Not sure where you don't see the valid.reports ? If they think he isnt good enough maybe thy are right

You do realize that if he's a weak player or not good enough that communication makes up for it righone

Reputation is part of his score as a player if he's a weak one

I'm weak on gears myself but I dont get bad rep scores guess why?

I work with my team as best as I can and communicate

360 also had a similar system

Player zones you set your zones ar paired within thebetter

Avoid me is the same not good players or bad sportmanship or communicator

Well you can be with the needs work.or avoid me if you end in those rep zones and work towards getting better and yes that's the design

He can join private matches or open matches

Thanks guys/girls, I will have him try that. Poor guy is upset because I took away his X-Box all summer as a punishment and now with his rep not changing, he's having a difficult time finding matches in Destiny.

When I use to play X-Box myself years ago (360, not One), there was a way to improve reputation. The rep system on X-Box One is extremely poor in my opinion and really needs to be updated.
there was no rep system in xbox 360

Just because you don't understand it doesn't make it invalid

People.have the right to avoid bad players it helps.their enjoyment

99.9% of live can get along why can't your son be one of them

    Teach him better sportmanship

And there is no parental reset on reputation in real life what makes you think there is one on networks?
