    Why do we get com banned for saying t..a..r..d" makes no sense and so do the bans that we get for it i would still be talking to my friends if i didnt get a com banned like i did the last 2 times

    Thank you for your discussion post. I hope to shed a little more light on why the usage of [mod removed] could result in a communication ban. [Mod removed] is an offensive slang derivative of [mod removed] which can also be offensive (in many contexts that
    the term is used) to those who identify as mentally retarded.

    The communication ban likely stems from Xbox Community Standards > Standards > iv. Keep your content clean. There, it states that part of supporting a welcoming
    and inclusive community is to "prevent people from feeling uncomfortable or unwelcome." The usage of [mod removed] is unwelcoming to those who identify as someone with an intellectual disability.

    The Special Olympics Northern California has a webpage (here) that is tactfully written - explaining and sharing resources on why the R-word is offensive and hurtful.

    I hope this information helps brings a little more understanding as to why [mod removed] is not a welcoming nor inclusive term.
