How does the enforcement really work.

I got banned for a week for innapropriate language or other online. I find it funny since i haven't being in a game chat for a year. I've being usi g party chat with my best friend for a year. Therfore, how is it possible to get banned for talking with others.
How does your system works. It's great your trying to prevent cyber bullying. Check your systems if it's possible. No game chat in the last year. I've being with xbox live for 15 years. Reputation in the green and that's how you treat customers. Bravo!

    :)

    Enforcement for nothing!!

No one here can tell you why you were suspended.

You can check on the enforcement site
    https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-GB
where you can also file for a case review if eligible.

Party chat is still chat over Live. So you can still get suspended for something you say while talking to your friend.

Rep has nothing to do with suspensions.

If he's in a party with just him and his friend, and he's receiving MULTIPLE reports (which is necessary for a ban) for inappropriate language and other, is it really plausible that his friend is the only one reporting him? Of course, if he's sending messages,
it might be a different story, but that raises another issue: Xbox Enforcement doesn't review individual cases, and it's all handled by algorithm. Unfounded reports can and do happen.

Assuming he hasn't been sending messages, are you implying that Xbox party chat (voice) is being directly monitored for suspension purposes? If what he's saying is true, are you saying he was suspended because he yelled one too many expletives in party chat
to one other person, who also happens to be someone who he regularly talks to?

I get it, you guys are assigned to spread awareness about proper conduct to avoid potential punitive actions taken on people's accounts, but one of the biggest issues on these forums seems to be a resounding lack of transparency from the Enforcement Team,
which is unreachable — and those who are even remotely related to the team are unwilling to respond to individual cases that often do warrant a second glance. I've posted similar responses to cases where people are clearly being falsely reported and have only
ever seen three responses: the generic "learn more about rep here at <insert link>", "our system is designed to handle multiple reports in a short time and not factor that into reputation", and "if you are in avoid me/needs work/ suspended, you have done something
    to deserve it."

I also realize you guys aren't part of the Enforcement Team and have just as little control over reputation and suspensions as anyone else, but if this is the case, I don't think these responses are appropriate considering the reputation/report system is
clearly flawed and can be manipulated to punish people for no other reason than they upset the wrong person (and this includes simply winning a game), and that many of these people don't deserve their suspension/bad reputation. I also don't think that you
should lock threads after people post responses similar to mine mentioning the same things, and instead engage in serious discourse over these individual cases and work together with your community members to achieve the common goal of everybody having a good
time. Copy/paste responses, generalizations about how smart the system is (not), and tasteless accusations about whether someone deserves their rep is not productive discourse.

That being said, let's start that discourse here. Assuming he hasn't sent messages, what do you make of this man being suspended for inappropriate language despite only talking to one person in Xbox party chat for a year? How might this be possible?

    Enforcement for nothing

The enforcement team can see everything you do or say over Live, which includes party chat. It doesn't necessarily have to be his friend that reported him. Someone else could have reported him for something completely unrelated, but the enforcement team
came across his chat while investigating and noticed he used profanity. It only takes 1 valid complaint to receive a ban. Multiple reports are not necessary for a ban.

  9. Hey there! The only way to contact the Xbox LIVE Policy and Enforcement Team is through a process called Case Review. The Enforcement Team used to use the forums, but
have since evolved. For more information about your suspension, please click here.

    Thanks.
