    I got hit offline by a hacker named: [Mod Removed]. He kicked me and my friends off our WiFi and then we couldn't get back on for about 25-30 minutes. Once we got offline we looked in theater mode in Black Ops 2 and saw he was somewhat afk
    and that was when we lagged and then got hit off. We looked at his profile and noticed he hadn't even played 1 year and has 180990 gamerscore and has over 50 games with every achievement. We called Xbox and they told us to call our internet providers and we
    did and they told us they couldn't do anything. But the rep from Xbox told me to post this on the forums. PLEASE BAN HIM.

    I'm on my 4th XBOX One. I purchased a Day One edition and wrapped it up for XMAS for myself. Once I set it up (on XMAS) the DVD ROM would not take any kind of disk. After setting up Advance Exchange (after 8 hours of my time repeating myself) I received
    my second console (two weeks later)which was broken on arrival. The TV output wouldn't work. I called again and another $550 on my CC for Advance Exchange I received my third console. This was completely dead when I started it. I immediately called and
    was told someone would get to me in four days? What? M$ you sent me a broken unit, replace it? Well as we all can see, our hands are tied. I called daily and was told iseveral things from "it's way" (but couldn't provide a tracking number) to the advocacy
    team is very busy (must be because the product sucks). I opened the ticket up on FEB24, 2014 and finally received a call on March 11th. Far from being ***, I setup advance exchange again. Received a confirmation email but no tracking number. When I looked
    up my service order after three days it had been cancelled. No reason, just cancelled. I immediately emailed the advocacy team (as you can't just email the representative directly) and called into the support line to find out what the heck? They didn't
    know why and said they were having trouble setting up advance exchange for this case (with a $20,000 limit on my CC) and the only option I had was to send the unit back with a provided pre-paid FedEx shipping label. At my own cost to box it up, I sent it
    back. They received it Monday, March 17th. No confirmation that they received it. In fact when I called they said I received the replacement on Feb24. Support doesn't even read their own case notes. Frustrated beyond belief I had no option but to wait.
    I finally received an email saying they were working on my console. I don't want them to fix that piece of crap, I wanted a new unit. Sorry it's refurbished. I'm still waiting for an update. If I was to do this to my customers, I wouldn't have any. If
    all my options are to speak to a front line that is completely useless and wait on an advocacy team that isn't much better I'm stuck waiting again. It's been well over a month now to replace a broken unit they sent me. So far I have not been able to use
    an XBOX console since, well November when I bought my Day One edition. I'm happy I'm not the only one, but is sounds as if M$ still doesn't get it. Please M$, if you even read your own Forums, get this message loud and clear...Your warranty and support are
    worthless. integrity has been tarnished. It's not like I spent a few bucks, we spent at least $499 not to mention the games we had to purchase too and abandon our XBOX 360 investment. Boooooo M$.

    Update- called after never receiving anything from the advocacy dept for 4 wks- the guy told me that 2 days prior the advocacy dept had emailed me and since I didn't respond in 48hrs( after I waited 4wks) they closed the case! Too bad they sent it to the
    wrong email!! Nothing I or the person helping me could do- either start all over or just give in and do another advanced exchange. I just did the exchange again. Well, got it and ghost(cod) didn't work so I tried titanfall and it worked. Well after waiting
    so long, I was content to just not play ghost( paid for a season pass) and just play titanfall with some buddies. Now titanfall doesn't work- serious issues with this product!! Don't let them tell you these are just isolated rare problems because the guy
    who helped me last told me "something has to be done about the manufacturing, I get 5-6 calls like this a day." Wish I had better news for you but I think the poo poo is going to hit the fan with all these issues!

    To protect yourself from a DoS attack, when your IP address has become compromised (read: someone out in the world knows it), you need to request a new IP address from your Internet Service Provider. That should be something they *can* do. As long as
    you've broken off all contact with the attacker, they shouldn't be able to obtain the new IP address, and any future attacks from them will be neutralized until such time as they might get your new IP address (which is why it's important to block any contact
    to or from them.)

    Hey ThisisAperture, I'm sorry you were a bit misinformed. The only way to report a player is via the tools on your console. Calling the tag out here on the forums is not allowed.

    You'll have to have like 20-50 reports to have him banned. I've reported on hackers, modders, the works and a lot of the time nothing ever happens. So I call the Report function my "Feel better" button.

    Actually only one valid report will do. If you play against someone that you think has violated the TOU/COC and you report them 20-50 times you are only wasting your time. The system acknowledges the first report and disregards the second plus report.

    You'll have to have like 20-50 reports to have him banned. I've reported on hackers, modders, the works and a lot of the time nothing ever happens. So I call the Report function my "Feel better" button.

    Actually only one valid report will do. If you play against someone that you think has violated the TOU/COC and you report them 20-50 times you are only wasting your time. The system acknowledges the first report and disregards the second plus report.
