    Hello,

    can someone please help me? I just got a message from Xbox that my account is blocked because of my gamertag.

    I really don't understand why 'MainCoon' is against the Xbox Code of Conduct or their guidelines.

    I mean it is only a name of a cat breed!

    Am I now forced to change my gamertag?

    I own that one since 2012... and I never had to change it...

    I'd be so happy, if anyone could give me further information about why this gamertag should be offensive.

    Does anyone have a problem with my Gamertag?

    Just curious if the gametag MyKneeGrows82 offends anyone and why? i have been a loyal x-box player for over a decade, and suddenly after thousands of people seeing my gamertag, and not having a problem with it, enforcement changes my gamertag, which by the way does not include any of the things that they say it shouldn't, so am i being singled out as an example? i don't see how showing proudly my race in my gamertag is a problem. Any thoughts on whether or not this should be possible for enforcement to do when the gamertag is in violation of none of the requirements of the enforcement&policies agreement whatsoever.

    need gamertag change looked into

    Unfortunately nobody from the enforcement team posts here.

    If you're getting forced gamertag changes it's obviously because your gamertag breaks the rules. The rules on gamertags can be found in the code of conduct.

    Im not sure why you dont know how it is offensive but ill bite.

    It is the second part of your gamertag that would be considered offensive since it is a racial slur against africans.

    You never had to change it before because it was never caught by the enforcement team until now.

    i was told that the enforcing team could force allow my gamertag change, and they should because i have people who complain that my gamertag is religously offensive

    The Policy Enforcement Team doesn't force gamertag changes unless the gamertag is in violation of the Terms of Use. Also, keep in mind that just because someone isn't using the gamertag for Xbox doesn't mean they're not using it for other services.
