Enforcement Ban Policies

I just got banned from xbox live for 7 days. I'm not sure how this works. This guy on GTA V was griefing me so I told him to stop in a "not nice way". But since griefing is also against the rules, shouldn't he go down with me at the very least? The fact
that I cannot contact the enforcement team is disappointing and upsetting. It is also upsetting that they don't even have to tell you the exact reason/situation in which why they are banning you.

Black Ops 2 Probation Warning

I had heard about the new policy where you get a probation whenever you leave a match early, but I didn't think they would actually enforce it, just like they say they'll ban people for cheating, yet you still see cheaters all the time. I wonder if this new probation thing will actually do any good?

XBox Live Suspension

Since when does xbox give indefinite bans? No 3,5,7 or 3 week ban? Just we are banning you until further notice? Meanwhile the poster continues to pay for the service? Something doesnt seem right or we arent getting the full story.

Cant you view the amount of complaints on your account on the enforcement website?

If you reported the other person for what they were doing to you then once Microsoft have reviewed the complaint you made then the other person may have also been suspended but you will not be told the outcome of any investigation.

Perhaps I was not clear. There is a group at MS called the Xbox LIVE Policy Enforcement Team. They do the investigation and then ban the person if they find evidence. I wasn't ever calling for law enforcement, just policy enforcement for acts that happen
to be illegal as well.

Well, if the account is actually at fault and did in fact violate policies, then it would remain "permanently" banned. If the account creator thinks Microsoft may have made a mistake and got the enforcement wrong, then the appeal option is available. Under no circumstance can we violate policies (permanent bans take ALOT) and expect Microsoft not to enforce the exact policies we ALL agree to abide by.

I am sorry but if it's a "Permanent" ban, nothing can be done.

But we're not the XBOX LIVE policy enforcement team, we're enthuthiasts. Why do you think we have to enforce Microsoft policy by demanding self moderation over posts about why people get banned?
