Enforcement Ban for defending one self.

First of all I am in my 40's. I am a cyber security developer and I enjoy handing out with my college age son who plays XBOX. Well, playing RB6 Siege I received a communications ban because of the following conversation.

What I have learned about XBOX LIVE is:

1. The bullies get away with being bullies for the most part.

2. Anyone who self advocates will be punished by XBOX.

3. Rich people like myself are not affected by XBOX bans as much as those who have less, because I have the financial means to purchase additional consoles, add user accounts or change internet providers.

4. Xbox live does not look at context in order to determine passion as they claim. It is the subjective feelings of an individual who is making the determination.

5. XBOX is a abusive parent who only punishes but does not explain the "why" and or provide explanation on how to change behavior.

To set the background this player was playing twitch and started team killing. So there was no intent on even engaging this person.

So I sent the following message to a "a LITTLE N1nja"

sent: why be dick <- so this word might have been the main reason for ban. However, if I would have communicated over voice communications the results would have been different outcome. Since it was on Record well, there you go.

Team kill again of another player.



sent: self child mental migit

recv: r3port3d ❤

sent: you game play was recorded and reported <- to ubi soft.

sent: people like u ruin good games

sent: You need some pepper with salt? ❤

sent: no have that in my hair kid

sent: Soooooo.... Dandruff?

sent: no old age hope you get to the mature point in your life to have same proble

sent: I hope you get to the point in your education, where they teach you spelling and grammar.

sent: called short hand layer427expert is who i am... ad hominem points.

The main point is:

1. First cause was the gamer who engaged in the team killing.

2. You call someone out and you get banned.

3. No corrective advice other than legalese, how to change behavior if specifics are not pointed out.

4. No course of action because of the monopoly MS has on the console.

I hope someone at Microsoft will utilize this to understand "compassion" you claim you have lacks context.

this is outrageous I get a temp ban for doing nothing but defending my self from someone harassing me he came at me first then I replied

 

Why?

I was just chat banned for cursing at someone but i did that because they said i was trash and i need to kill my self and they kept messaging me mean stuff and i forgot i could report so i said leave me alone **** and now im banned for like 2
weeks it was basically chat self defense and im banned can yall please un ban me i was just defending my self my gamer tag is .

 

Lets sum this up. YOU violated the
Code of Conduct, had an enforcement action placed on your account and are not happy.

Sorry to hear you were suspended. Unfortunately no one here can help with enforcement actions. You'll need to log in to http://enforcement.xbox.com/ and click the hammer icon to see the reason for the action and
open a case review with the PET.

 

Microsoft enforcement policy doesnt work and 90% percent of the time they dont even review the reports, its basically just a corrupt game of who reports first and how many reports do you get. I know people (trolls) who provoke other people on purpose to
get them to react agressively and when they do respond they get banned while the harrasers laughs and moves on to the next victim! I know this because it happened to me!

 

Well, then next time do NOT respond to such trolls, and simply report THEM.

Since you say it happened to you and you were suspended, it is a direct evidence that the Enforcement policy DOES work.

If it weren't working, the trolls wouldn't have been able to report you and get you suspended, because you fell for their trap and sent them a message violating the Code of Conduct.

When being trolled, do NOT send them a message that violates the Code of Conduct.

Simply write something like "Your message is very important to me. It will be redirected to the proper persons that really care about your message".

Then report their trolling message to the Enforcement team, which will attach their message as evidence, and let the trolls get banned.

 

All you had to do was not reply to the game with any form of offensive language, If the other player was offensive you could have simply reported him and if necessary blocked him.

However we can see that you violated the code of conduct with your replies so the suspension is justified.

Trolls will always provoke a response and instead of them getting banned its you that receives the ban, Best not fall for their trap and simply do not reply to them.

All reports are reviewed by a real person, that is why it can sometimes take a while for a suspension to be placed on an account.

 

I troll bullies, but in a way that doesn't break rules. It's quite easy and really funny.

 

If you really are a cyber security expertt you WOULD know better

Pretty sure you are taught terms of uses and policies in school

It doesnt matter who started it it is YOUR actions and your actions alone that reflect your punishment
