Enforcement against Gamertag

I am a foreign national and English is not my native language - and definitively not my daughter's. For years my daughter had an account with the Gamertag "[Mod Removed]" because she loves racoons, which according to leo.org translates from "Waschbaer" into
"[Mod Removed]" (zoological), and she actually paid 10 Euros to do that.

Now I have to realize that this is superseded by US American slang words. It would have been helpful if MS had checked against its dictionary when the gamertag was created. But in the given case I would have prefered a friendly notification and an offer
to change the gamertag for free - at least that is what I have educated my daughter to do: behave social.

Instead MS behaves like Nazi and takes offensive action. Now my daughter feels terrible, and I have to buy a new Gamertag (because the auto generated one is really painful). well done, Microsoft - bash on your customers and have them pay for it.

In addition there is no way to arbitration, no contact, no way of complaining - in particular not in my native language. I am even quite sure that my statement was not even understood. All in all MS is much to US centric and ignorant of its international
community.

Is MS sure that they are really allowed to make their service available on the European market in a language that is not understood by European citizens?

Finally, I have an Xbox as well, and I am not interested in Community: I play with my family and would be happy if I did not need XBox Live for that. But I have changed my mind and I have to tell you: I do not want to be in your community any longer - I
do not like your attitude.

Does anyone have a problem with my Gamertag?

Just curious if the gametag MyKneeGrows82 offends anyone and why? i have been a loyal x-box player for over a decade, and suddenly after thousands of people seeing my gamertag, and not having a problem with it, enforcement changes my gamertag, which by the way does not include any of the things that they say it shouldn't, so am i being singled out as an example? i don't see how showing proudly my race in my gamertag is a problem. Any thoughts on whether or not this should be possible for enforcement to do when the gamertag is in violation of none of the requirements of the enforcement&policies agreement whatsoever.

You have to remember it's not just Europeans but everyone in the world you have to take others feelings into consideration

She can continue to use the fluffy cute animal gamer tag all she wants

 

As an Xbox Ambassador, you should know better. In Europe it is not considered offensive, the least you could've done is link the enforcement teams website, rather than be rude

Dispute what you think Eu isn't the only country the world

 

You can view the GT change by logging in at enforcement.xbox.com and
from there file a case review if the enforcement is eligible for one. However if the have already ruled against it there is nothing further you can do. The enforcement team does not use the forums.
