Enforcement Action

So i was playing an older game of mine because i was bored, and I had gotten tired of chasing a player who was running from my entire team the whole game. I ended up sending him a message about it, and then got some of my communications banned by the xbox
enforcement team. So i decided to check my rep and everything on the website and i was in the green with my rep and have never been reported for being unsportsman or cheating or anything. So why have i been temp banned for a day for sending a message with
profanity in it? I could see it if i was telling him to end his life or something but i wasnt. Please explain.

An email would of been sent to the address linked to the suspended account telling you the reason & the length of the enforcement action or you can check on the enforcement site
https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-GB where you can also file for a case review if eligible.

The enforcement team do not use the forums so no one here or on phone/chat support can tell you the reason.

What is considered content in Xbox Live?

Content is anything you create, share, use, or promote that another person could see or hear or otherwise experience, like Gamertags, profile information, in-game content, and videos.

If you were banned for one day or 24 hours there is nothing you can do. However if the suspension was longer then a day you can file to have your case reviewed by the enforcement team. That way they can hear your side of the story. If you are interested
in doing this Here is how to do it.

You will need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com sign in and click the orange hammer in the top left of the site.This will take you to your enforcement history page. Find the current enforcement effecting your
account. Next to it on the right you should see a link that say submit a case review. Click on that and follow the prompts.
