I received a notification that my account has been a enforcement action,

enforcement.xbox.com,

there no option file a case review.

An email would of been sent to the address linked to the suspended account telling you the reason & the length of the enforcement action or you can check on the enforcement site
https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-GB where you can also file for a case review if eligible.

The enforcement team do not use the forums so no one here or on phone/chat support can tell you the reason.

Not all suspensions are eligible for a case review. All you can do is wait it out.

 

Hello, Sorry to hear about your ban. The enforcement team does not follow this site and the only way to communicate with them is through a case review. Not all cases are eligible for a case review and not know your exact info, can not tell if yours falls
in that case

 

Hi I just had a ban last night I was singing along with Pandora as I played a game and someone messaged me with a rude comment and I responded in kind just like hundreds of times before. I have had my xbox account since I started it on xbox 360 so more than
ten years. I hope this isn't permanent do you have any info I did nothing hatful and was no more rude than the last person I talked to, which could only be the one I responded to. I also made a complaint about this person. I don't usually talk to people playing
a game but I do when invited and sometimes ask to join a squad. Tank, and other battle games. For anything I have said recently I don't believe it's worthy or the punishment. Anyhow just wanted to get some perspective on the subject. Sincerely, Xbox Loyal

Please check the
Xbox Live Code of Conduct. There you will see, that it says:

"What are examples of content that is prohibited in Xbox Live?

[...]

• Content that could harm or harass a person, including yourself, or an animal. For example:
  • Profane words or phrases
  • [...]
  • "Noise", which is excessive speech intended to interfere with or disrupt another person's or group's ability to enjoy a game or app on Xbox Live"

So by "singing along with Pandora" you "violated" the "Noise" rule. If you really need to sing along, please mute your microphone, as the constant "broadcasting" of you singing prevents other players in your team to communicate properly.

When the other person messaged you with a rude commend, you should simply report that rude comment, as it violates the "Profane words or phrases" rule.

Since you "responded in kind", you ALSO violated the Code of Conduct, and the other person reported you for that.

Because every report has to be investigated by the Xbox Live Policy Enforcement Team, they reviewed your message that got sent in along with the report, and decided that it indeed violated the Code of Conduct, and issued a suspension.

Please keep this in mind for the future: If someone messages you with a rude message, DO NOT respond to that message. Instead report the message, and have the Xbox Live Policy Enforcement Team deal with that. Two wrongs don't make a right.

And as for your musical performances: You are free to continue singing to Pandora, but mute your microphone, so you don't disturb others with your singing.
