    Enforcement Action specifically the console ban


    I was console banned for two weeks for voice communication on May 26th 2017. My ban has been over for 5 days, ending on June 10th, 2017. I am now able to play on Xbox live, but still unable to participate in party/game chat nor can I send messages on Xbox
    live. My main account is banned for 100 days and is still effected. However, on accounts that have NO prior enforcement action or have no current suspensions are still unable to send messages or participate in Xbox live party/game chat. So basically when my
    console ban was lifted, the only thing I was able to start doing was playing multiplayer in games such as Call of Duty. I really wish to get this resolved as soon as possible, Thank you!

    Question about article 17 (Console bans)

    thats only on termination of xbox live entirely not enforcement action



    console ban enforcement action is with CAUSE

    the only example of this was the originals xbox live shutdown where original console owners were given 1 year of live



    and other console ban waves have happened before and has never resulted in refunds

    (was actually thrown out of court mw2 console bans)

    Hey Zain1413,

    Unfortunately once enforcement actions have taken place then Xbox Support or Microsoft Support don't have to tell you any reasons why or make the enforcement remove any enforcement actions, unfortunately the enforcement team don't give enforcement actions
    out lightly, they gather as much evidence as possible to back up the reason behind the enforcement actions, the highest level of enforcement is a console ban, only one person has had the console ban removed after going to court and proving the console wasn't
    tampered with and to prove her account was clean, the bans was lifted but that's a really rare case, you can check any enforcement actions and statutes here >> enforcement.xbox.com then appeal your case

    Apart from that we can't do anything about the actual enforcement actions unfortunately

    Posting your phone number on a public forum is not the best idea in the world & against forum rules.

    The enforcement team don't use the forums.

    For info on any enforcement action you need to read the email sent to the address linked to your account or check on the enforcement site
    here

    Console bans can not be appealed.

    If it is a permanent ban,which the majority of console bans are, then it will not be unbanned.

    Sounds like a temporary console privilege suspension.

    Using a secondary account to avoid a suspension on your main account is against the code of conduct.

    Temporary console suspensions are issued to prevent you from doing this so no account on that console can use communications.

    The other accounts will work fine on other devices.

    You only got suspended once per violation,if you were given a second suspension it would of been for a separate offence you committed,possibly weeks or even months ago.

    The enforcement team probably discovered the other offence while investigating your first suspension.

    The only way to appeal a account suspension is via a case review on the enforcement site

    The problem is not the account ban, the console has been banned separately, The device’s enforcement action is applied to the device not to a specific Xbox profile. This means that no one can use the affected Xbox console or device to connect to the network, but your profile can be used elsewhere.
