    Enforcement Action received


    Hello Support,

    I have received an Enforcement action regarding my childs Xbox account.

    The response was "This account engaged in inappropriate communications. This activity may include harassment, abusive language, hate speech, profanity, disruptive or offensive language, spamming, or other inappropriate uses of Xbox Live communications features."

    My child is 9 years old and does not have a microphone on his Xbox One. So how would this action occur? I would not even give him the option to chat with others online. I do see him playing games with others, but definitely he is unable to communicate back.
    So how can I resolve this?

    It does say account suspension or Permanent suspension could be a result in disciplinary action. My son does get told to do things leaving his game for a min or two, so maybe the other players are reporting him due to his inactivity?

    Can you please check the
    Xbox Enfocrement web site     as you may have received an enforcement action reference your gamertag. If you have received an enforcement action this will prevent you from access the insider program and also play Sea of Thieves.

    Mics are not the only form of communication on an Xbox. You can also send messages over Live.

    No. Occasionally the enforcement team will send a message saying thank you and that they took action on a person you reported, but they will not tell you who or what time of enforcement action. There's no way to know for sure when someone else has received
    a suspension, but the enforcement team does investigate every report they receive and will take the appropriate action.

    There was an issue with the system not recognizing enforcement actions and removing members when the enforcement happened. That was fixed which is why you were just now removed for your enforcement actions from January. Unfortunately, receiving an enforcement action as an Ambassador does ban you from the program.

    No one can get you banned by spam reports, Xbox investigates player reports and take each report into consideration when making an enforcement decision. However, a certain number or frequency of reports doesn’t mean you’ll receive an enforcement action
