Enforcement action for "inappropriate content on my account"??

http://enforcement.xbox.com Since the suspension is only for 1 day, it is not eligible for a case review so all you can do is wait it out.

The discussion is rather simple. You are responsible for any content you send on Xbox Live. There is no "they started it" defense. If that content is deemed inappropriate, you risk an enforcement action. The Code of Conduct specifically states that users
should not respond to inappropriate conduct with more inappropriate conduct.

By using Xbox Live, you agree to those terms in the Code of Conduct, so a second disclaimer/warning would be superfluous.

The enforcement team do not use the forums.

• Permanent suspension or device ban, if you try to avoid suspension with alternate accounts and/or devices.

Unfortunately, joke content that is inappropriate would still be subject to Code of Conduct review, and potential enforcement actions. Further, users are advised by the Code that they are ultimately responsible for any content sent using their accounts.
I would recommend changing your account password to a different value so your friend no longer has access to it. If they are using this after you yourself have logged on (such as when they are visiting your home) you may wish to discuss this with them, so
they can see the ramifications of their actions.

You may choose to request a case review at the
Enforcement site, but nobody here will be able to assist you with this matter.

Xbox Enforcement web page. From here, you can look at your reputation as well as feedback (positive and negative) that you have received from other gamers.
