Enforcement action did not do what it said it did

I recently had enforcement action taken against me for uploading a screenshot of my character holding an adult toy in the game cyberpunk 2077. I did not deliberately upload it but my settings are set to upload any captures to xbox live without asking.
Anyway I had an enforcement act taken against me and it said that all it did was remove the innapropriate image from xbox live but ever since then I have not been able to make clips of any games and i cannot appeal for a review as you can't do so if the enforcement
was only a takedown. I have talked to one of the xbox "gamers" about this and the only advice I got was restarting my xbox and factory resetting it.

    :)

how come i got banned but the other guy did not ?

Did you report the other players action?

If you did then the enforcement team will investigate their actions and suspend them if they did violate the code of conduct.

The only thing that the enforcement team may do if the enforcement team determined that they did violate the code of conduct is send you a message saying thank you for the report. This is not guaranteed that they will send you this message but for privacy
purposes they will not let you know what the outcome of their investigation is with the other player.

It does not matter who starts a conversation if you do anything that violates the code of conduct it is your actions that cause your account to be suspended.

If you did not report the other players actions then the enforcement team then the enforcement team will not know to investigate the other players actions to determine if they violated the code of conduct.

    my LIVE account was suspended

To add to what the other people have said as long as you reported the other players actions and their actions violated the code of conduct then they will get suspended also.

If you did not report the other players actions then the enforcement team has nothing to investigate.

    Hello Evil,

Thanks for the replies. Then you did all you could do. As for what they said it isn't allowed and if reported and they heard it the enforcement team will take appropriate action. As there is nothing more we can do, and enforcement does not use the forums,
i will be locking this thread. Only thing we can suggest is look over the
    Enforcement site
    for useful information.

    Thanks,

    Brad

    Enforcement action information

if you have no action showing on the enforcement website, what makes you say you have an enforcement action against you?

did you receive a message or email from Xbox Live or XBLPET?

What did I do or say to have an enforced action taken on me?

Hi, please view your offense at enforcement.xbox.com

if you need to submit a case for review do the following:

Submitting a Case Review is easy, and can be accomplished in several steps:

    1. Sign in to enforcement.xbox.com with the account that received the enforcement action and select the large box with an
orange hammer icon, or visit your
      Enforcement History
      .
    2. Find the enforcement action that you wish to have reviewed, and select
      Apply for Review.
    3. Read the Case Review Terms of Use and agree by clicking the checkbox and selecting
      Agree.
    4. If you are already eligible for a Case Review, select the
green arrow icon. If you are not yet eligible, you will be presented with a short questionnaire. These questions help gauge your understanding of the Code of Conduct and associated policies. Upon successful completion of the questionnaire,
      select the green arrow icon.
    5. Provide any details (up to 500 characters) regarding the enforcement action that may help XBLPET conduct a more complete investigation. This may include context around the activity or content
that received enforcement, information about your game activity, or any other facts that you believe are worth noting. When complete, select
      Submit.
After submitting, an Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement agent will begin a thorough review of the enforcement action. This includes reviewing available data and re-examining evidence that contributed to the enforcement, taking into account any new details that
    you have provided.

    Hopefully this was helpful!
