    Enforcement Action | Banned Account


    Dear Enforcement Team,

    I let my friend play my Xbox, because he didn’t have one. When I left my room and came back, I saw that he had sent some nasty words in response to someone being mean. This ultimately got me banned. I contacted The Enforment Team for a Case Review.
    The decision was upheld causing me to be banned for 2 weeks. I have changed my password and turned of auto sign in, that way my friend can’t get back in. I really want to be able to communicate because Sea of Theives comes out Tuesday and I won’t get to use
    the amazing game chat they have. Please consider fixing my account, because I feel like I’m getting punished for being nice to my friend.

    Meaningless Suspension

    The Xbox enforcement team does not life ban lightly, does anyone else use your account?

    Since when does xbox give indefinite bans? No 3,5,7 or 3 week ban? Just we are banning you until further notice? Meanwhile the poster continues to pay for the service? Something doesnt seem right or we arent getting the full story.

    Cant you view the amount of complaints on your account on the enforcement website?

    The Enforcement team does not use the forums, so your message will likely not be read by them.

    Nobody here on the forum has access to your Enforcement records. You will want to log on to
    http://enforcement.xbox.com and see your suspension details. If eligible, you can contact the Enforcement team through a case review.

    Unfortunately support is known to give incorrect information regarding things they don't handle directly. The enforcement team has not used the forums for years.

    If you already filed a case review and it was upheld there is nothing more that can be done but wait out the suspension.

    Keep in mind that you are responsible for your account at all times.

    Xbox Enforcement Action but nothing on account?

    Enforcement Actions (being an account suspension or not) have the same procedure. You receive an email telling you about the enforcement action (which can be a device ban, account ban, chat ban, etc...).

    Right now there's an issue with the enforcement site not showing current suspensions /enforcement actions which means it's not possible to see it there or submit a case review at the moment.

    If you still have any other question, please let me know.

    Clean record?

    Not all the enforcement actions on your account appears on your enforcement history, as only you will see the communication bans and permanent bans
