    Hi recently i obtained a suspension for 7 days. Being an xbox user my favorite feature of xbox is the chat and party abilities so i can actively play with friends and others on game i like. But the other day m uncle who is about 55 signed into my account
    and told me i had gotten suspended from party chat. I know that even though he got me the ban from i think messages with another xbox player is ultimately my fault but i haven't been able to try and dispute my suspension. The day of my suspension January 9th
    2018 and the ban was enacted within minutes because of swearing in messages. I know the rules on others using my account i was just hoping to find a way out of the suspension as i play xbox a lot and was hoping to use party chat and other social features in
    the coming days. Anyways i was never able to submit these disputes to appeal my suspension because of the disorganization and lack of information on the Microsoft enforcement website. the first day of my suspension i tried to submit my report via phone and
    the website glitches and only gave me one attempt at the survey questions. Today (the 10th) i found the two questions i got wrong very unfair as i studied the code of conduct before taking the survey and i found that the two questions i got wrong were not
    listed in the conductor at least not clearly if at all. I believe the conduct needs an update and/or there needs to be more and better ways to contact enforcement. i felt as if xbox enforcement is trying to make people not submit reports but i would like to
    share my case to see if i can get the appeal i am hoping for. Overall i think the most unfair aspect is not my suspension but the unfair treatment and glitches from the website . i need a way to contact enforcement to bring up my case and i was very dissatisfied

    If you were banned for one day or 24 hours there is nothing you can do. However if the suspension was longer then a day you can file to have your case reviewed by the enforcement team. That way they can hear your side of the story. If you are interested
    in doing this Here is how to do it.

    You will need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com sign in and click the orange hammer in the top left of the site.This will take you to your enforcement history page. Find the current enforcement effecting your
    account. Next to it on the right you should see a link that say submit a case review. Click on that and follow the prompts.

    In case the instructions are a bit confusion, here is a link to a video showing you how to file a case review as well.

    You say this however, I am aware of a case from one of my friends whereby they received a 30 day suspension, and when the submitted a case review, they were not contacted by the enforcement team for almost a week after submitting the review. What made this
    worse is they submitted a second review for the suspension that they had received and they didn't actually receive any way to be able to present their ide of the story until the suspension was actually completed by which point it was completely irrelevant.
    So yes although the enforcement team is meant to contact a person regarding their case review so that they can present their side of the story and give reasoning for why exactly they were suspended, more often than not there is no response from the members
    of the enforcement team meaning that in a large number of cases there is no way for the player to give their side of the story and present their case to the enforcement team with the hope of being able to have the suspension removed from their account.

    HI there,

    Unfortunately the only way to contact the enforcement team is through the case review process on the enforcement site. They don't use the forums.

    The issues you had submitting the case review, have you tried to submit it while on a different device or using a different browser?

  5. yes I have tried using a computer that is the questions that are not in the code of conduct I contacted support to ask how to submit a formal complaint and they suggested I post my issues on forum

  6. To add a very unfair answer i attached a screenshot of a question i failed which clearly says choose in the question which i know you cannot choose a new gamertag if one gets forced changed and i do know that you can purchase a new one the question phrasing
    is awful because if you get a forced change it give you the inability to choose a new free one if you've never changed it before.

    the system of enforcement is so terrible I seriously doubt anyone gets a chance to appeal their suspension its honestly the worst service i have ever received even though i am a goo xbox player i will never buy another xbox again if this crap continues to
    be pulled on me its severely unfair and unredeemable. It even says purchase when explaining the right answer and choose in the question.

    there is no such thing as 28hour suspensions only 24 and 48 hour then various lengths after that depending on severity and history

    Generally retaliation can't be appealed because there is no justification for breaking the rules regardless of who started it

    And no saying he started it is not a valid excuse nor does.it excuse your nephews actions
    There was no retaliation that is what I am questioning.

    NNope 24hour suspensions don't have any case review because it can take up to 48hours meaning there's is no point as they have to re-review based on your case review request and see if it was justified or not which would take longer then 24hours so there
    is no point is asking for a case review
