Enforced name change/ sign in

So the name change isnt the issue its becuase of that and deleting my profile as what is says to do, that in turn now will not let me sign back in!, ive changed my p/word twice, hardrests etc, live chatted to xbox, just wondered if anyone has had the same
problem and got a fix????, its proper annoying to basically not being able to do anything(ish)!

The enforcement team do not use the forums.

Doesn't matter how long you've had that tag,it has only just been reported & found to violate the code of conduct.

My guess would be for the second word in that tag.

All you can do is file for a case review if eligible on the enforcement site

If a gamertag is not suitable on xbox live then it's not suitable to post on the forums.

I have had my name for over 4+ years (forestgenocide) was a forest919 but i joined a clan called team genocide in call of duty so it changed to forestgenocide i do not understand how you could change my name after all that time and i feel kinda offended
that you would take that away from me plz help

When did you last attempt to sign in with this account?

Up until about 12 hours ago there was a service issue, which could very possibly have been the reason for the failure to sign in. Have you tried more recently?

After the forced name change, what steps did you take to try to sign in again? Are you able to sign in on 360 (if applicable)?

 

Ive been trying all day!, , after the name change, i deleted my profile off xb1 and then tried to add myself on again to which point it wouldnt let me sign in!, hense the error code i do have a 360 still available should i try that???

 

Yes ive just signed onto the 360, it dowloaded the new profile, but still not on xb1

 

Successful sign-in on X360 is encouraging and it appears you've successfully changed your Gamertag anyway.

You say you've done complete power cycles too? As per this page?

Have you tried restarting the local network? Do that while you have the console turned off completely, that could help reset things to a working state.

 

Sadly no, no change still!, well i guess ill have to see what the xb tech helpline email me back with??

I've now seen one other user with this exact issue, it would help to know if anything works for you.

 

On the console, go into Settings then Network then Advanced Settings - Alternate MAC address and then choose the Clear option. This will reboot the console afterwards.

See if you can get back in after that.

 

XBox changed my name and said notice enforcement act in my messages and im stuck with this bad name cause they didnt give me my money back.

 

Please don't bump old threads. If you need to know why you were given a forced name change, you would need to go to
http://enforcement.xbox.com If you want a new name, you will need to pay to change it.

 

If you paid for a name change and it didn't follow the CoC/ToU conditions as described then unfortunately you are either 'stuck' with the name you have or will have to pay to change it again. Make sure your name is not against the rules.
